We are beginning the third year of the Covid 19 Pandemic which is a life-threatening Pandemic that has Impacted all of us. It is no wonder so many may feel exhausted emotionally, spiritually, physically and quite a few people suffering from anxiety and loss. In 2021 I lost two of my dear cousins to this virus.

Even so at the beginning of this wonderful new year in 2022 I advise you to turn your attention inward as you forgive everyone for everything and continue to live with an open and willing heart for you, your life, your family and your success.

Do your best to remain resilient and in alignment with your goals as you reflect on that which your heart desires.

I recommend you find a way to manage and maintain your state as well as letting go of stress on a daily basis. Our journey is no doubt different now and what good is NLP if we are not using it all the time to reframe and conquer our best experience.

I am so grateful for Neuro Linguistic programming and Hypnosis and my understanding of each, to continually shift consciousness in myself and others for the better.
Becoming flexible, adaptive and determined to maintain the highest possible quality of life.

NLP Mental Drills Exercise:

1) Connect with your Intention / Outcome
It is truly essential to get clear and develop a space of high expectation and achievement for yourself. The best way to guarantee this is by already having created your "Well Formed Outcomes click here to read this post

2) Go inside of yourself - bring all of your attention to the inner you.
Your mind is very good at this even if to begin with it seems impossible, the more you connect to yourself and notice what is going on inside you, the more you will be able to control your state.

3) Notice yourself slowing your breathing down as slowly as you possibly can - Just focus on your breathing while saying "I can slow my breathing down".

4) Create a flow of your slow breathing that is like a gentle wave that flows naturally.
If you begin to visualize this as an actual wave it is more likely to help you focus on turning it into a natural flow.

5) Begin to feel even better and slow your heart rate down in the same way. 
The mind and body are a cybernetic loop. The Mind can control the body, the body can control the mind.
This usually happens out of consciousness. Now you are Influencing your body with your mind, which is normal and natural. you have the power to do this and it has historically been done for hundreds and probably Thousands of years.

Your mind is very good at this even if to begin with it seems impossible, the more you connect to yourself and notice what is going on inside you, the more you will be able to control your state.

6) Wrap all of your thoughts into a safe blanket and give them to a Unicorn with wings for safe keeping.
Assign a colorful, fun, interesting and soothing thought keeper that allows you to feel safe letting your thoughts go for the time being.

7) Focus on the clarity of your mind.
Get clear with yourself and create a space of high expectation and achievement for yourself. The bolder, the better,

8) Present your outcome and you receiving it notice in detail, what you see, hear, smell, taste, feel.
Here is where Representation systems and submodalities bring your mental drills to like.

9) Sit with this and notice your ecology and how this fits with your over all higher functioning.
Where are the key people and external processes in your life, does everything fit together. do they approve and support etc.
Test, Check and correct. this will make a massive difference to your ongoing unconscious motivation strategy.

10) Connect yourself to this mental drill in great detail at least 3 times a day managing to keep your state (Breathing and Heart rate relaxed and slow) as you do so.
Practice and chunk down as much as you like until you achieve the ability to experience powerful mental drills.

Most of all the more you connect to your unconscious design and process the more chance you have to work out any kinks quickly and easily and achieve it faster.

Why Try | NLP is Fun

NLP is Fun is committed to helping you have practical NLP Tips, NLP Lessons and NLP Courses that change your mind and life for the better.

That being said we do not do Try here. Neuro linguistic programming has given us the resources to decide how to drive our own bus. 

NLP is Fun has more than 300 NLP and Hypnosis Posts 

"Why Try" when a person says "I will Try" they are in two states at one time these states are something like: 

  • I do not believe it will work or that I can do it but I will try anyway.
  • I will do it even though I cannot do it and I am not even sure I want it but I will try anyway.

This is incongruent and conflicted how much effort is going into the result. as opposed to the internal dialogue that doubts it can be done.

For me the greatest problem is in the Expectation, they do not congruently expect to succeed and they have not yet made an actual decision, or maybe they have but it is a secret.

Have you ever seen this being muscle tested ? it turns out the operator gives a very weak "Try" effort compared to when they make up their mind to do it which is a very strong and certain Muscle test.

Try to open your car door to get in, or Try to open a can of soup you would like to eat for lunch. What happened on your visualization did you achieve it or did you loop the movie over and over and over.

There are two things happening here Two states and one is moving toward and one is moving away from.

Do this Experiment if you find you have reasons not to that you have not "officially" committed to.

Just Try to visualize yourself having achieved it. what ever it is first. at the very least you will have gained more information as to what the real issue is. At best you will achieve it. and as Nike says Just Do it !

On the other hand many of us will use Try as a Negation language pattern, "Try not (or don't) to enjoy this as much as I know you would love to". it is super hypnotic isn't it. and the listener has to take a course of action if they want to get the conversation back on track,

Many of us believe "Try" means do not. and if a person uses it hears a watered down version of  "I will not ____________"!
For sure as a coach I believe it will be more resourceful to think of the client mismatching themselves. and look for further themes that repeat this pattern. where else does the client mismatch or contradict or polarize.

Powerful Affirmation Techniques | NLP is Fun

Many people wonder do Affirmations really work, for that reason I have decided to speak on this NLP Blog post about how to get the most out of your own affirmations.

You make also be wondering can you use NLP to create better Affirmations and if you are curious about how Neuro linguistic programming will improve your affirmations you will love this post.
I will explain an affirmation technique you can use right now that impacts the unconscious mind very quickly.


How to create a Powerful affirmation that works instantly
You must decide on your Outcome first to create the most powerful affirmation ever

Now

Get clear on what is the specific desire and turn it into an actual sentence like this
I want to get better at football

Now

Create the real Affirmation and turn it into an I am Statement like this
I am great at football

Now Amplify and turn up the volume and intensity of your affirmation which makes you fully connected to it and in NLP we call this Fully Associated.
Real eyes if you cannot feel the reality of this statement you are dissociated from the outcome which means you probably are in conflict with the belief or expectation of this actually happening.
If this is the case it is very likely it will not happen.
Your unconscious mind must accept this before it happens.

Now explain how you have evidence of this Visual Auditary Kinesthetic say it like this
I know this because V.A.K (evidence):

I can see myself Playing better than I ever have now
I can hear people telling me I am great at football
I feel great about my football skills now

Now Amplify this into another Positive and stronger statement add another plus to it
And I am always getting better

Repeat the completed Affirmation 10 times each one

And Now

Now Visualize yourself doing the actual outcome and repeat 10 times

Notice the shift 
The more you commit to this process the faster you will receive your reward,
Most of all have fun with it!

You may be interested in repeating this exercise as many times as you can for lots of reasons. You are in charge of running your own brain as soon as you like,

NLP Modeling Exercise | NLP is Fun

Here is a fun way to use NLP to become better at building a skill. In Neuro linguistic programming we call this "Modeling" because we are learning from a role model.

Have a go at making NLP easy and fun, and you can do this is by keeping it simple in the following way.
Credit for this NLP Modeling exercise goes to Richard Bandler co Creator of Neuro lingistic programming 'NLP" .

One of my favourite  things to do is to cook Jamaican food and I modeled my Auntie who used to cook delicious Jamaican food for us that felt great in our hearts and Tummies.
Here is a dish that I cooked recently, and I have become so good at cooking Jamaican food that I also am called to cook many times for my friends and family.

Although I have no plans to own a restaurant, I have successfully catered many private events. Part of the reason is I actually love cooking the food of my heritage.

It is a wonderful anchor that reminds me of great days long gone. As I cook I get to recreate memories for my friends and family and the joy they experience delights me.


Are you ready to become a Modeler ?

Step 1:
Decide what the skill is that you would like to learn or decide on a person you admire and would love to behave like.
Find all media to review and make yourself comfortable and relaxed while reviewing all, and remember the more relaxed you are the more your unconscious mind will easily adopt the behavior.
Notice all Visuals - Auditary - Kinesthetic - Olfactory - Gustatory components. 
Observe - Relax - Familiarize the What

Step 2:
When you feel as if you are fully present in the components of this persons actions.
Close your eyes and relax Visualize them doing it with all amplified sensory awareness of their behavior and what they do and how they do it.
Notice all Visuals - Auditary - Kinesthetic - Olfactory - Gustatory components.
Relax - Visualize - Amplify - Notice the How

Step 3:
After you feel as if you have "Got it" then "step in to them and Act as if" you can see through their eyes fully associated to all of their mastery
Step into - Act as if - Experience
Notice all Visuals - Auditary - Kinesthetic - Olfactory - Gustatory components.
Explore in 3D repeat several times noting your discoveries as a strategy for yourself.
Step in to - Explore - Notice

Step 4:
Run again from your own associated position and repeat several times until you can do it without trying too hard.
Notice all Visuals - Auditary - Kinesthetic - Olfactory - Gustatory components.
Repeat - Improve - Adjust

Step 5:
Step out of your persons body completely and retain the applied process integrated into your own natural processes
Notice all Visuals - Auditary - Kinesthetic - Olfactory - Gustatory components.
and re-run this over and over again, improving every single time.
Notice all Visuals - Auditary - Kinesthetic - Olfactory - Gustatory components.
Adopt - Adapt - Run - Improve

Step 7:
Repeat the whole exercise over again and do daily for a month
Notice all Visuals - Auditary - Kinesthetic - Olfactory - Gustatory components.
Perfect - Repeat - 30 days

Tote Model of Strategies | NLP is Fun

When providing NLP Coaching and certainly in NLP Training  we are determined to create a check point to know if a strategy of any kind is working at it's highest functioning.


For this reason, every single time we do any pattern we will use the Tote Model of strategies.

The Tote Model is not exclusive to  Neuro linguistic programming as it was created by George Miller, Eugene Galanter and Karl Pibram for developing feedback loops to developed processes that were complete for operating and monitoring human systems for problem solving.


T.O.T.E stands for Test, Operate, Test, Exit.

1) Test where the system is currently
2) Operate a solution for Improvement and higher functioning.
3) Test how well the operation worked to overall functioning of the System.
A) If it provided the Desired Outcome Exit
B) If further resources are needed continue to Operate until an Exit point has been determined by the feedback loop.

4) Exit only when satisfied with the stability of achieving desired result.

There is no such thing as Failure only Feedback | NLP is Fun

In Neuro Linguistic Programming we have established a few Presuppositions which we call the NLP Presuppositions, and many of them I have written about already.

Today I will discuss another one which is:
"There is No Failure only Feedback"

When things do not go as we planned them, it can seem normal to feel disappointment, Anger sadness or even Frustration after all we all have our own emotions.
We may have put so much effort towards the outcome that we even feel like giving up or that we have done a bad job and shouldn't even try again.


I call this a downward spiral and I have experienced it myself, it is quite normal.
To feel a wide range of emotions is normal and let's you know that you are alive so to feel your emotions is fine. What I have also found is that to feel your emotions for an extended amount of time causes other problems.

That is why I call it a downward spiral as it begins to go downward very quickly sucking in other bits with it and before you know it you could be telling yourself a very sad story about your current situation.

That is just not practical or efficient for anybody. so after you have suffered a loss, instead of going Full on Downward spiral take all experience as feedback.

If you got the result you want great, things are on track if you did not get your outcome, modify your approach until you achieve your Target.

Consider your result practical feedback or Feed forward and you get to choose how you will respond to it.
If you consider it 
a practice run, then the next time you go for it you already have some experience. Experience is like a layering effect. The more you do it, the better you can become at it.
Remember Test Operate Test Operate = The Tote Model

The Conscious Mind | NLP is Fun

In Neuro Linguistic programming we speak of The Conscious mind and the Unconscious mind, If you would like to learn about the unconscious mind then you can do so by clicking here   and also on this NLP is Fun post I wrote about programming your unconscious mind.

The Conscious Mind is about real time awareness it is a state of awareness that is about your focused attention, what you are focusing on at the moment.
And also this description is an example of what it could be and what we mean when we use it. We use it as a metaphor because it is a practical way to use language to describe an experience.


The Conscious mind would also represent chunking down into details like when we use the Meta Model for example, as opposed to the Milton Model which we use Chunking Up in ambiguity for the most part.

When we speak of The Conscious Mind we mean attention to Stimulus of what is happening inside (in detail) and Outside (In Detail).

You may have heard an NLP Practitioner say the Conscious mind is the gate keeper of the Mind, and that it does not have the capability to operate the full potential of the mind. Which means it is often attempting to dominate out of its scope of capability.

Worrying about the future is an example of this since the Future is not in a state of consciousness at present.
we can certainly image in e  what we believe to be a version of what could happen in the future and this will happen in the Unconscious mind. And if the conscious mind expects a bad result NOW it would draw comparisons from the unconscious mind of how bad it could be.

A transderivational search (for comparative meaning) Like in the Communication model.
Although to say this is true of accurate is left to interpretation. You can see how the conscious mind is great for an initiator of Hypnosis by now can you not ?

This is because the conscious mind can represent 7 plus or minus 2 pieces of information at a time and an example of  this could be a lighthouse that shines over the dark and cold water at night time the lighthouse sweeps light over small parts of the water periodically. It illuminates different area's one at a time. It does not have the scope to alight the whole Sea at once.

The bit that is illuminated is the bit you are aware of in the present. The rest of the sea still exists and it would be "in the Unconscious Mind" which is everything else.
even though it exists and you may or may not know it does, it is "out of consciousness" which can mean you are not aware of it in the present and any detail of it.

Some say The conscious mind is considered to be a messenger, you can use it to initiate Self hypnosis for example. It is most practical to instruct your conscious mind with a series of repetitious thoughts and behaviors so as to overload The critical faculty and spill into the Unconscious mind for Transformation.

Remember the conscious mind is a great helper when we become more mindful on what we love to experience. This will help to create more of these satisfying experiences by paying attention.

More about your Unconscious Mind | NLP is Fun

Neuro linguistic Programming is about making sure you have more options and choices available to you at any given time.
One of the most important presuppositions then is to understand our objective is to program the Unconscious mind to be even more effective for our desired outcome.

I have written about how to "Program your unconscious mind" here  in this post I will give a few tips about what your unconscious mind is busy doing.
If your Conscious mind is a wallet, your unconscious mind is your Luggage.

The unconscious mind has stored All experience. Including experience that has been experienced "Out of consciousness"
The Unconscious mind works well to help you, and is using previously programmed information. your most frequent filtering and beliefs.
in order to change a belief it must be reprogrammed in your unconscious mind.

As you may know all transformation is created by adjusting how you do your unconscious process and the goal is to overload the critical faculty and impress you unconscious mind with the new behavior.
Using NLP and Hypnosis for this is fast and thorough.




Of course bear in mind the Unconscious mind already is working and here is what the Unconscious mind is charge of:
Your Body Functioning, it is preserving your whole body functioning entirely. All of your Neurological process is unconscious.
You can also direct these processes by programming your unconscious mind to improve the way it is functioning.
An example of which is to relax and tell your breathing to slow down. Did you know that many mentalist's slow their heart rate down so that it practically stops but beats just enough to keep them alive.
And all Pain may be controlled by programming your unconscious mind.

The Unconscious mind is in charge of your real Values carrying out, preserving and enforcing your Values, this is why some times a goal has not yet been achieved as there is an internal Values conflict. All new behavior must support your whole ecology and pass through your unconscious filters.

Your Emotional responses, your Brain chemistry how you are reacting according to your most used emotional responses another way of saying this is your moods.
Your Memories, Storing, repressing to protect you and representing memories in case you would like to deal with them.
Your real Preferences which means your real unconscious desires and not the ones you really don't like, (but want people to think you do like) and your filtered  perceptions.
Your Habitual behavior Patterns that you have done so much become second nature.
Your Beliefs that serve a higher purpose to your overall functioning.

Neuro linguistic programming is about improving your subjective reality which will improve your overall experience.

The best way to improve your experience is to practice using Neuro linguistic patterns that allow choice to become a normal part of your reality, and then choose a behavior that supports your outcome.

NLP | Software for the brain | NLP is Fun

A Neuro linguistic programmer knows that NLP is software for the brain. With this being said NLP software is valuable, works well and yields a great result.

So many of us have been taught that to yield a great result we must work hard.
This programming was taught perhaps as a way to enforce the idea of laborers in time gone by.

This does not apply to NLP:
NLP is Easy
NLP is Fast
NLP is Efficient
NLP is Valuable
You can make a change using Neuro linguistic programming. Many people have changed an unconscious pattern easily in minutes that had been a massive problem for years.

Nowadays we have learned that working effectively is about focus.
The 4 hour work week by Tim Ferris, discussed cutting out most of the clutter in your life.
When you focus on what is really important, it can be easy and also valuable. You can become more efficient:
with your time
with your effort
with your resources

Perhaps then, if you wanted to create a change and it was really important to you, you might make it a priority ?

NLP is Fun | Imagination is Key 
The end goal would be clear,
The end goal would be mapped out
You would have created "Well formed" outcomes.

You would have a focused Intention with concentrated attention to your outcomes.
This is opposed to the reasons not to achieve the outcomes.

NLP is about efficiency getting to the result. Creating systems that work inside your Brain.
Systems that help you to achieve, what you have not yet achieved.
Systems that help you to improve on systems that already work.
Systems that are duplicable, that others can easily learn too.

It is not about why you cannot.
It is not about what stands in your way

It is about understanding the pattern of what you do, and how you do it maybe so that you can do something else instead.
It is about rewiring your Neuro linguistics for reprogramming.

It is always about achieving your goal.
How much attention are you spending on achieving your goal ?

When things get rough, are you able to stay focused on your outcomes.
Are you able to go the distance in your belief. for achieving your outcomes.
Are you fully associated and committed to your goal.

Does your unconscious mind accept that it can be easy and also valuable
Do you believe you deserve to achieve it
Is it possible for you, do you see yourself as capable
Do you say words that encourage yourself internally and externally.

Do you feel powerful enough to achieve it.

Neuro linguistic programming, is about engaging with your unconscious mind to create a transformation that was not happening before.
NLP is Software for the Brain and anyone can use it.
To create something amazing for themselves.

By the way hard does not always mean good either, I am sure your know this.
Sometimes hard means good
That does not mean, everything that is hard is good.
Sometimes easy means valuable
Sometimes valuable is also easy
Valuable usually means good.

NLP is valuable and easy to millions of people worldwide.

NLP | Simplifying NLP | NLP is Fun

As an NLP Practitioner you become mindful of your state, quickly realizing that "State is everything".
In NLP we speak of Internal representations. This meaning how you "re present" information inside your own head.
(Your version of reality).

The Neuro part of Neuro linguistic programming is about your sensory experience:
Your Neurology
Your Nervous system
How your unconscious mind responds automatically using sensory experience.

This includes how your body automatically responds:
Examples:
  • Embarrassment may change your face colour
  • Nervous may give you a twitch 
  • Anger may cause you to speak faster, turn red or shout and more..
  • Love may cause you to smile
  • Anticipation may make your heart beat faster
and so on ..

So Internal representations conscious or unconscious can cause a physiological response.
And changing a physiological response can change state.

For instance, I can shift your attention to just pointing to a thing that symbolizes something else. Or I can use words. Both are a pattern interrupt.
The tell is, what has worked, to create the state shift.

By listening to your linguistics we can usually identify your internal models and we can also change them using linguistics in various patterns to communicate with you.

Programming is a Pattern or a strategy, it can be one you are already using or you can use it to become more effective.
NLP is actually this simple.
You can make your own patterns, they can be established NLP Patterns, they can be adaptations of another persons pattern.

There are no limit.
How you use breath can be a pattern, for instance if it changes your state. Which it usually does.
In NLP we know all external consciousness affects an internal state change.

Communication Verbally
Communication Non verbally

As Neuro linguistic programmers we are looking for the patterns that work and seeking the patterns that seem to be causing a problem.

Many times a person is unaware of their own patterns
An observer may be able to notice them
This is the power of Neuro linguistic programming.

As NLP Practitioners we know what is on the inside will show up on the outside.
Also what appears to be on the outside, usually does influence your state.
This is a presupposition not limited to NLP, many schools of thought have this as a reality.

I invite you to expand your models and seek your patterns. The ones that work and the ones that do not work.
The goal is effectiveness.

What is being Associated verses Dissociated | NLP is Fun

In an Neuro linguistic Programming Training as you are eliciting Desired states you will consistently hear phrasing like "Be Fully Associated" and "Amplify" or "Now Dissociate", and now "Double Dissociate" NLP is like that. There are ways in which we can enhance or limit the impact of the experience.

So Let's speak about this today. firstly what I mean by enhancing the experience has to do with how connected you are to the experience.

Who do you want to be | NLP is Fun 

What does "Being Fully Associated" mean ?
This means you are running through the experience just as if it was happening right now. you are looking at the world through your very own eyes so you cannot see your whole body. You can see your hands and feet and bits of your body from within yourself.

If you look around you know this is exactly what you will notice in your memory too your surroundings and you can pay attention to what else is present. Association then is a Solid connection to yourself and also is a state of consciousness in that you are aware of your surroundings and the impact of your experience too.

What is Being Fully Associated and Amplify and Connect fully to V.A.K.O.G Representation systems
In this case you are engaging with your (4 T) Four Tuple as you experience your full range of sensory internal experience.

V= Visual
A= Auditory
K = Kinesthetic
O= Olfactory / G= Gustatory

The value of this is, let's say Being Associated was a "sketch" Being Fully Associated is filling in the details just like painting a master piece one stroke at a time.

In this Powerful state you can fully engage with all of the finer distinctions that can be found in each  of the Submodalities.

What is Being Dissociated mean ?
This means now You can see your whole Body and even your own facial expressions. You are watching yourself in many ways from a distance.
The further you go, the less the feelings of the moment seem real or connected to reality.

It is a way of having potential for objectivity, which can happen when you are dissociated.

What is Double Dissociation ?
Depending on the situation, like a Phobia for example, the pain may seem so intense that a person needs a barrier between even viewing the experience and them in the present time.
In that case imagine:

Watching yourself sitting down (Dissociated)

Watching Yourself, Watching Yourself on a Screen (Double Dissociated ) By the way depending on a persons Driver (Critical Submodality you can change the modality to have less impact in that area)
A= Sound Proof Plexi glass
V= Mist/Fog
K= A feeling of a Warm blanket
O/G = while eating smelling comfort food

NLP | Four Tuple (4T) | 4 Tuple | NLP is Fun

In Neuro linguistic programming you my often hear the Phrase 4 Tuple. So what does a (4T) 4 Tuple or Four Tuple mean in NLP ?

Answer: A 4 Tuple (4T) / Four Tuple is a Model and it is comprised of full sensory experience which Must include:
1. V=Visual
2. A=Auditory
3. K=Kinesthetic
4. O=Olfactory/ G = Gustatory (as one for the sake of abbreviation) O = O/G in other words.

This Model originated as an Internal experience and a way of processing with full sensory awareness to engage with and enhance to amplify the fullest experience possible.
Because processing in this way can be frequently unconscious, it may switch to an external experience as well.

This is indicated as:
I = Internal
E= External

Thought and Thinking is defined as Internal Processing
E = External added with a modality indicates something outside of Self

Once the sequence of the structure of processing is elicited it will be recorded in the exact sequence and then becomes a Strategy.
This is useful to add to or deconstruct the particular behavior.
Depending on if the behavior is adding to the quality of a persons life or not.

When a Strategy is written, it also includes Internal or External to the Modality as we mentioned before because this makes a difference to exactly how a person is processing.

Which helps us to help them insert more choices exactly where they are needed.

A strategy for a specific structure could then be written the following way:
Ke = Kinesthetic External (something on the outside inspired me /Annoyed me / made me smile
Ki = Kinesthetic Internal ( I felt cozy when the fire was lit / I smiled when I remembered you)
And so on for each sensory Modality.

This is an example of how you will designate what a person is doing and know how a person is creating a certain behavior.

Each Model must have the 4 Tuple components to provide a full range for a sound and maximized exploration and experience.

Here is what a strategy sequence may look like:
K1 ->Adi->Ve->Vi.

Feels bad->Says"I feel bad"->Sees a Rainbow->Feels better inside.
Easy isn't it.

Do your Actions reflect your passions | NLP is Fun

Becoming great at NLP means  using the techniques of Neuro linguistic programming to Power yourself up and just decide to be the best that you can be,
Do Not allow anything or anybody to stand in your way.

If you want to be successful then keep on going and just decide that no matter what, YOU WILL achieve your goals.

Keep improving yourself and do not allow any external obstacles to decide for you.
Your level of certainty must rise above the level of negativity or resistance that you are experiencing.

Which means you have got to be extremely persistent in conditioning your mind and body.
Remember all resistance begins and ends in your mind.

If you want to change your Mind, then you must actually do what it takes to change your ideas.
So make sure your actions reflect your passions.

Let us speak about your Money Values.


Many times a person may have self sabotaging beliefs that stand in their way and cause them to do things that go against what they say they want.

If you want something put your back in to it and do not get hypnotized into Focusing on all the obstacles or believing you cannot have it.

Power up your mind in every way and really go for it.
Wealth consciousness is a Term I learned from Think and Grow Rich. It is a Mindset of accepting the certainty of wealth and allowing it into you life.

Milton Model Language | Maybe | NLP is Fun

The following NLP Language pattern can be used when being artfully Vague and inspiring a person to find and agree with solutions inside of them.

Maybe you already know that NLP is great for Negotiation of any kind. and this pattern is perfect for implying possibility.

Maybe, you will think differently about a Limiting belief you had
Maybe you haven't _____________ Yet and that doesn't mean you won't later !
Maybe you haven't thought of all the ways in which _______________ is Possible now!
Maybe you have experienced ____________ for yourself and you love it too
Maybe you wont take as long as you thought when you ________________
Maybe ______________________ will be so much easier then you know
Maybe when ____________ it will inspire you to ________________ which you had been avoiding before now
Maybe using this pattern in your problems will cause you to _______________ so much more quickly
Maybe he __________________ and maybe he didn't perhaps we will never truly know for sure
Maybe she will realize it is possible and _________________ before the end of the day

Maybe you will discover more ways to use this Covert language pattern
Maybe the situation will work out to your advantage

Maybe Hypnotic language comes naturally to you

Maybe you can chunk it down to get more detail
Maybe you can chunk it up to gain a larger perspective

Immerse yourself in NLP

Learning Neuro Linguistic Programming is a Process, which means it is an ongoing habit. The things that you already know well, you can perfect them.

The things that you have not yet learned can be understood and embraced by your unconscious mind congruently.

The best way to learn NLP is to begin to "Try it On" this means experiencing for yourself before thinking about applying the intervention with another person.


As  you begin to learn a new pattern for example, you can wonder how many ways in which you can use it. If you were to use it as a filter for a whole week, let's say you would get tons more mileage out of it.

Sometimes when I meet people who are interested in learning NLP, they want to have known it all Yesterday!
While I do understand NLP is the sexiest tool set I know, to know it is to experience it and really more than anything to live it.

It really is a spirit, a way of processing experiences, and a different way of responding to things, a new way of believing and thinking in terms of unlimited possibilities in every single area of your life.

This will not happen over night, although if you persist in practicing and applying it will happen and will only change your whole life experience for the better in  every way imaginable.


I encourage you to be kind with yourself in learning NLP, take your time and immerse yourself in it. Wrap yourself up in a cozy blanket of NLP and Hypnosis and wash your bad habits away with persistent application.

NLP - Reading in to it | NLP is Fun

Many times people ask me what NLP Books should they read and I think different people are best suited to different Books.
I guess what I really mean is, it depends on a persons reading patterns at the time this will help me decide what  book I will recommend.
Often if I am coaching or Tutoring a person I will include steps to increase reading stamina over time.


Even If you are just starting out with NLP and want a book that you can glance through Daily I have already mentioned Entrancing Tales by The English sisters in another post.
Because the more you dip into it the better you feel, also it makes a great book to throw in a bag to take to work as a pick me up no matter what your level in NLP.

As you have perhaps encountered many people find it a challenge to sit through a dense book overloaded with facts but very little glue to captivate an audience.
And we all know a change of mind is usually a change of heart too, so feeling great is the perfect kick starter to a new way of doing things.

I list Books I like to do with NLP, in the NLP is Fun Bookshop so people can also decide which book to read next and add to their collection.
Because I think it is quite important to build an NLP Library, certainly with all of the classics which in time a person will enjoy as they understand more about NLP.

When I first started studying NLP I wanted everything I could get my hands on about NLP,nowadays I have most all of the NLP Books I like But I recently added 3 Amazing NLP Books which I must review for you soon and in detail.

1. Doug O'Brien - Sleight of Mouth
2. Joseph Riggio - The state of Perfection
3. Peter Parkes - NLP for Project Managers

Needless to say I am almost Trembling in anticipation to share because I am thrilled with all three.

I am an Avid reader and have collected about 700 Books so far. Most of these Books are about NLP/ Hypnosis/Business/Influence/Persuasion/Healing/Change/Energy/Prosperity/Sales/Behavior/Neuroscience etc.

My intention is to create a proper library in my home where the room is based around the Books and not the other way around ... where the Books are overflowing and taking up all the room in my office.
Here is another Book that I was sent recently which I really like.
It is written by Tom Oberbichler who is an NLP Trainer, NLP Coach and also a Writing coach, and it is called Feel Wonderful Now.
Seriously, what more can you ask for, who doesn't want to be wonderful ?
Do you like the Pivot Grammar Tom uses on his logo ?

Tom, who is from Vienna and he is a perfect example of what he writes about, which is, exactly how to get the most out of your life and enjoy an emotionally healthy experience no matter what.
It is a great book filled with simple everyday NLP techniques to experience and begin to feel great instantly.
Kind of like this NLP blog really :)

I love reading tips from people who have "cracked it" for themselves and are "walking the walk and talking the talk" Tom is about as authentic as they come and I really like that. 
It is an appealing characteristic in my book. Now him and his longtime life partner Chris Pape are really interested in helping you get a peace of mind for yourself, and keeping NLP accessible to all who want a positive change.
