I hope this is how you feel.

So many things happened in 2023, Didn't they how about you, how is everything going with you.

Richard Bandler said we must learn to embrace challenge, and the idea that there is always alot to learn during a challenge.

Learning things that will help us to solve our own problems in new unconscious ways. Even ways in which we may or may not have much or any conscious awareness of.

This is true isn't it for the most part and hindsight is 20/20 In my opinion change and or challenge is often easier said than done.

The 'frame' or the Idea of embracing challenge as an opportunity to learn something is not built overnight.

Patterns, are embedded, unconsciously aren't they, we know this by now surely.

Although, to keep embracing challenge as a possibility will for sure help manouver through challenge better than not.

I will say in my life i am more than familiar with challenge and last year was for sure the hardest year I have ever encountered.

So far i have learned to realise some challenges take more resources than others, have you found that out yet ?.

Some challenges as we know take much more than a single NLP pattern provides.

Bandler has been clear about being creative in finding solution. There is no script .. Keep working on finding solutions until you find something that creates a more useful change for each one.

The brain is doing what it is doing at any given time. Learning more about the brain has been one of my new habits.

I will be sharing more about this as i explore more and discover why we do what we do with Neuro linguististic programming and why it affects brain chemistry.

Kinesthetics = patterns of behaviour.

Also remember perspectives on real challenge / change depending on our position, our perception and what our brain is communicating.

let us consider the feelings, the kinesthetics if u like.

The kinesthetics are truly the schematics, the underbelly of the construct.

It is so much easier to solve a problem that you are dissociated from.

This is why i have called it a construct which begins the process of change doesn't it.

When we think of submodalities we know the connection to a thing changes the magitude of its importance.

Depth of perception, possibility and ability to change it.

Even this is quite a bit to consider. I will leave you with a new feeling of what is to come a curiousity of what will come next.

In 2024 I will share new ideas and new solutions as well as discover things we may or may not have touched that much on yet.

One thing is for sure, there is alot to unpack watch this space change is coming.

If you like this post then be sure to enjoy more NLP patterns and discussions about Hypnosis and Neuro linguistic programming on one of many posts on this NLP blog.

Always remembering if nothing else NLP is fun.

With love Nadia Harper.
Nadia Harperhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/18019637815500951838noreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1032490373952411366.post-18513065269837644462023-01-18T19:57:00.002-08:002023-01-18T20:00:02.731-08:00I have been hacked |NLP is Fun
Hello dear friends, recently I discovered my phone and all electronic devices had been hacked.

The reason, I am telling you this is because it seems to be more of a stalker than a normal hacking situation.

Which of course is bad enough in itself.

I say this because frequently I cannot open my phone, laptop and other devices. If you do not believe me, just take a deep breath now.
If you would like to enhance this do more breaths, breathe more slowly, and notice what happens.

When you shift your breathing pattern, you literally shift your physiological state of being.

What is the single most important aspect of physiology and why NLP works to change your mind | NLP is Fun

Changing your breathing pattern changes how you feel, here is another example: Think of something that really scares you, now notice your breathing. Did your breathing change?

All of the exercises that we call patterns in NLP are designed to shift your state from Present state to a desired state.

Why NLP works to change your mind

Now there are other things you can do to make it even better. Let's talk about using Neuro linguistic programming to change your physiology and why it works.

Your mind and body are a Cybernetic loop. Use your mind to think and you will feel. Change your breathing and you will regulate how you feel unconsciously.

So, this being agreed, to take it a step further you are the sum total of what you are thinking and how this makes you feel.

Your mind and body are an interchangeable unit.

The sounds and pictures are creating stories in your mind and your body is demonstrating how this is making you feel.

In Neuro linguistic programming we call these Internal representations. How you are representing reality internally (Inside your mind).

Also, as you exercise and or use exercise as part of your well-being on a daily basis, it will become easier to manage your emotions. Exercise can change brain chemistry in such a way that you notice great feelings very quickly.

Simply standing up, sitting up, and or jumping are examples of changing your physiology and shifts your consciousness which changes your mind.

We may have been told it has to be hard or strenuous exercise that does this although as we have discovered simply breathing is physical and also changes our psychology.
Think of meditation for example, many who practice meditation feel feelings of peace and wellbeing in their body.

An example of combining movement and breath is Yoga. In NLP we combine breathing and using the sensory awareness of the mind to create altered states of consciousness that we call mental drills.

This is why NLP works to change your mind literally.

We pay attention to details of experience while relaxing and modifying how we notice we are feeling using our mind.

The best way to manage our emotions when things get tricky is to relax. All relaxation is done by slowing down our breathing.

We may want to create a feeling of anticipation, and this will be done by spinning our feelings in combination with using sensory awareness internally and this will change our breathing also.

One of the single more important aspects of noticing a physiological shift is to watch a person's breathing rate change. We will calibrate this in our communication to understand how a person is receiving our communication and if we are in rapport with them.

When we are in rapport you may notice we will breathe at the same tempo. As a Trainer of Neuro linguistic programming when I am speaking to a large group of people, I will set the tone by creating a pattern of breathing so we can all become harmonized and in good energy. Good rapport feels like good energy and can be seen in body matching, breathing matching, heart rate matching to name a few.

Next time you want to change your move just decide to shift, change your breathing, perhaps sit upright, look up, get outside, change your position and use your mind to move the problem behind you just to go a step further.

Consider the power of how changing your breathing changes your mind, let me know how this works for you and while you are here be sure to enjoy some of the other posts on various other topics about Neuro linguistic programming.

Nadia Harperhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/18019637815500951838noreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1032490373952411366.post-1918132827717609512022-12-12T16:56:00.002-08:002022-12-12T18:48:14.253-08:00Can NLP cure Anxiety | NLP is Fun

Can Neuro linguistic programming cure anxiety

Neuro linguistic programming improves the way that we relate to ourselves. In doing so recovering an impoverished emotional experience.

By Impoverished, I mean not having the best experience in any given situation. NLP is the art of improving a person's internal sensory awareness to create a more optimized experience.

Perhaps we can consider what happens to a person who has anxiety asking them to describe the experience that they are having.

Can NLP cure Anxiety | NLP is Fun

It is more likely an NLP Practitioner would ask a person to describe how they are feeling at the moment and what they perceive to be the problem they need help with. The NLP Practitioner will then lead them into an internal discovery of how they are creating the state of consciousness they are currently experiencing.

If the person says "I notice myself breathing rapidly and my heart rate is faster than usual and also I am seeing pictures of something devastating happening, I am saying something that makes me even more afraid" etc.

Now the NLP Practitioner has something to work with and will take a client through a series of NLP patterns that transform this experience at present time to something better in the future if it were to arise again.
There will be several tests the Practitioner performs with the client to notice what happens until it seems to be resolved.

One thing to consider is that NLP is not therapy and for that reason is not a cure for any type of disorder including Anxiety which may have been diagnosed by a medical or psychiatric professional.

NLP is Not Therapy and is interested in how this behavior is being constructed

Neuro linguistic programming is more interested in how behavior is created, how it is constructed within each client than considering behavior to be a static state of being.

NLP was created by Richard Bandler and John Grinder who studied Gestalt therapy at length as well as the work and patterns of famed family therapist Virginia Satire and Dr Milton Erickson.

If a person had been diagnosed with Anxiety, they will find numerous patterns that will help soothe and transform a state of anxiety physiologically very quickly.

The idea of a cure of anything implies linguistically a problem, and Neuro linguistic programming considers the value of creating a state of enhanced performance within every context.

NLP can help to ease sensations of anxiety, and this has been documented by Steve Andreas who was licensed therapist as well as a leading contributor to the field of NLP . We as neuro linguistic programming coaches and change workers have a different take on listening, this is because we are so interested in the words, tonality, cadence, inflection and so much more. We consider all of this additional information that adds meaning to the words you choose.

The last two years during the pandemic is a perfect example of how becoming more adaptive with sensory based information became so much more relevant, since we were no longer connecting in the ways we had been so used to.
We were unable to meet in person or have a large group. In this case how we presented information changed. Neuro linguistic programming training that traditionally had been done face to face in many cases was 100% online or via telecommunication, email, video.

NLP coaches were mostly coaching with their telephones now and online.

We also found there may be times it was not possible to have any visuals and only have auditory sensory calibration capabilities.

Communication is what we as Neuro linguistic programmers do, we love to learn your "model of the world".
This information is relevant and priceless to us and considered information gathering.

Because to us listening is more than just hearing. Being fully focused and present to the information being presented in its original form. Without adding anything to it, instead listening exactly how it is being presented and examining each subtle nuance.

Notice what you can notice that lends more information or creates some type of micro shift and explore it to find out what is going on.

If you have been one of my long-time readers of NLP is Fun you may be familiar with this post, I wrote about your Auditory representation system which is also a worthwhile read.

Here are 4 ways to Improve auditory awareness as an NLP Coach

4 ways to Improve Auditory awareness | NLP is Fun

1. Listen to Rythm and Pace changes read my blog post about Rhyme, Rhythm and Hypnosis here for more about communication Language and Rythm.

3. Listen to the speakers breathing and notice heart rate, if possible as well as body language does this appear to match the pace of the words being communicated.

4. Listen to repetitions, metaphors, reasons and beliefs each one adding volumes of clues.

Think of yourself as a communication investigator and have fun investigating. To a Practitioner of Neuro Linguistic programming, it is that persons "Map of Reality".

"The Map is not the Territory"| NLP is Fun | Nadia NLP

Dr of Philosophy Robert Anton Wilson also added that it is more effective to let go of speaking in Absolutes.

Like: "This is True ... You are an Idiot if you do not know this etc." Type of "Frames" in conversation.

Instead, you could say:

"One might say, I believe that ______"

"I have found that _______"

"It seems to me ______"

And while we are on the subject he suggests:

"The Thinker Thinks" and "The Prover Proves" for instance:

If you believe it enough, you are more likely to adopt it as Truth and Prove it to whomever. Which you may believe validates your "truth".

And any person can do this.
This is why a Scientist can prove her own Bias. Journalist and Bestselling Author Lynne McTaggart wrote in "The Intention experiment" that it turns out a Scientist becomes a part of (Entangled) in his own experiment.

It may be his beliefs influence his result; she proves the result she expects. Each one may prove what they believe. It turns out all of this may be "Subjective reality"

As NLP Practitioners we have already learned that "The Map is not the Territory"

Author and Biologist Rupert Sheldrake may add the Morphogenetic resonance of your thought influences (Changes) the outcome.

Perhaps the structures of your expectations show up in all of your behaviors. Like "The observer Effect" in Quantum Physics of Changing a particle into a wave (Double slit experiment).

Like Energy Technologies Author and Master Trainer Richard Bartlett D.O uses for his Matrix Energetix to transform any Matter.

As an "NLP'er" we are interested in all beliefs that support the highest probable outcome for our client.

so, the question may be How is having that belief helping them to achieve their outcome.
As long as it is helping them to get where they want to be and not hurting another person's ecology there is no need to challenge it. perhaps we can agree on something else if we disagree. we can agree they are allowed to believe what they like even if it is about us. Can we not?

I am curious, what are your thoughts about this? How do you feel? Do you believe this may be true in some way or do you know for sure this is Rubbish?

I encourage your feedforward.

NLP is Fun has over 300 blogposts about NLP, Hypnosis, Personal Development, Transformation and how to program your mind for success you are welcome to enjoy and benefit from this free NLP resource at any time.
Nadia Harperhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/18019637815500951838noreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1032490373952411366.post-15983526966179461172021-11-26T02:42:00.002-08:002021-11-26T02:56:42.833-08:00Happy Thanks Giving Thanks | NLP is Fun
Happy Thanks giving. If you want to use NLP to practice and Improve your own Mental drills I have put together the following step by step outline for you to enjoy. If you are ready, let us begin:

NLP Mental Drills Exercise:

1) Connect with your Intention / Outcome

It is truly essential to get clear and develop a space of high expectation and achievement for yourself. The best way to guarantee this is by already having created your "Well Formed Outcomes click here to read this post

2) Go inside of yourself - bring all of your attention to the inner you.

Your mind is very good at this even if to begin with it seems impossible, the more you connect to yourself and notice what is going on inside you, the more you will be able to control your state.

3) Notice yourself slowing your breathing down as slowly as you possibly can - Just focus on your breathing while saying "I can slow my breathing down".

4) Create a flow of your slow breathing that is like a gentle wave that flows naturally.

If you begin to visualize this as an actual wave it is more likely to help you focus on turning it into a natural flow.

5) Begin to feel even better and slow your heart rate down in the same way.

The mind and body are a cybernetic loop. The Mind can control the body, the body can control the mind.
This usually happens out of consciousness. Now you are Influencing your body with your mind, which is normal and natural. you have the power to do this and it has historically been done for hundreds and probably Thousands of years.

Your mind is very good at this even if to begin with it seems impossible, the more you connect to yourself and notice what is going on inside you, the more you will be able to control your state.

6) Wrap all of your thoughts into a safe blanket and give them to a Unicorn with wings for safe keeping.

Assign a colorful, fun, interesting and soothing thought keeper that allows you to feel safe letting your thoughts go for the time being.

7) Focus on the clarity of your mind.

Get clear with yourself and create a space of high expectation and achievement for yourself. The bolder, the better,

8) Present your outcome and you receiving it notice in detail, what you see, hear, smell, taste, feel.

Here is where Representation systems and submodalities bring your mental drills to like.

Richard Bandler says your Experience / life will be a reflection of your internal representations.

Rich Mental Drills / Rich Experiences (That you love and give you pleasure).
"Act as if" it is actually happening now Click here to learn more about this

9) Sit with this and notice your ecology and how this fits with your over all higher functioning.

Where are the key people and external processes in your life, does everything fit together. do they approve and support etc.

Test, Check and correct. this will make a massive difference to your ongoing unconscious motivation strategy.

10) Connect yourself to this mental drill in great detail at least 3 times a day managing to keep your state (Breathing and Heart rate relaxed and slow) as you do so.

Practice and chunk down as much as you like until you achieve the ability to experience powerful mental drills.

Most of all the more you connect to your unconscious design and process the more chance you have to work out any kinks quickly and easily and achieve it faster.

Bonus tip if you like create and chain an Anchor find out how to use NLP here for Chaining Anchors

I am curious as to how easily this has worked for you, remember there are still more than Three Hundred Blog posts left to read on NLP is Fun which one will you choose next ?

Nadia Harperhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/18019637815500951838noreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1032490373952411366.post-81169824087872012852021-11-04T16:00:00.005-07:002021-11-04T16:00:59.074-07:00What will you create Next | NLP is Fun
Students of Neuro Linguistic Programming learn how to become flexible in how they perceive reality. As NLP Practitioners we have learned that "The Map is not the Territory" and although something may seem "static and immovable" anything can most certainly be Improved at some level. Neuro Linguistic Programmers by now have discovered our Attitude (State) predicts our flexibility and how willing we may be to discover alternatives.

NLP is Fun blog has over 300 Neuro Linguistic Programming posts.

Our Beliefs will help us or hinder us depending on how willing we may be to transform beliefs that prevent us in achieving our outcome.

Quite simply, a belief is a construct nothing more or less. A belief is construct that has either been installed by others or ourselves, and all of our actions are a demonstration of our beliefs.

The more information a person has, the more stimulation a person has in constructing, strengthening or deconstructing their belief.

The source of information is important and perhaps state dependent. Any person is generally in their own Trance already, we can always do something to get their attention and bring them into our Trance.

A desirable trait of Neuro Linguistic programming is to learn how to become a conversational Hypnotist. To take every opportunity to captivate and tranceform using language. With your emotions as well as helping other people to get out of a "stuck state" too.

We call this Changing your state or State change and much of NLP is about going from one state to another depending on what you want. It may be that you want to break the pattern of one state and then go into another state that leads to a "Chain" of reactions all leading into the congruent elements of a desired state.

Or perhaps you can go from an unhappy state state into a cozy state and now the original problem is not being experienced and there is now room for other possibilities. I am sure you know there are Infinite possibilities and they can often be found once you have shifted your state. If you are experiencing a state of survival the choice more frequently than not appears to be limited.

NLP is fun is all about huge shifts from a Problem to a desired state as efficiently as possible in the least amount of time, and if it is simple and fun it may seem "doable" to more people. Remember a "Trance" is what you are focusing on and it is that which has all of your attention. It is very easy to shift your attention.

Interrupt the pattern by focusing on something you like, and fill in the details of how much you would love that.

Consider the statement "Energy flows where attention goes". This may be a definition of consciousness that sounds something like this: Your reality is subjective to your experience.

What you are experiencing Seems Extremely real and you are experiencing it with all of your attention and highlighting all of the detail.

What you are experiencing with all of your attention may become your "intention" albeit unconsciously. Another way of saying that is you are creating your experience. Your experience is based on your beliefs and your beliefs can very easily change using NLP.

I am sure if your beliefs are affecting your emotions in the opposite direction of what you love, it is worth sourcing a change for the better.

What if it were possible, would you like to create a shift ?

Bring all of your attention inward and focus on your breathing pattern close your eyes and desensitize the problem you were focusing on.

Slow your breathing down 3 breaths in and 3 Breaths out.

Breathe as slowly as you can and focus on holding the breath as long as you can before releasing it slowly.

Slow your heart rate down using your mind and speaking it in to being ("I have the power to slow my heart rate down")

Think of yourself as having the ability to affect how your body works as well as your mind.

watch all of thoughts fly away on the back of a beautifully patterned butterfly right in between their wings for safe keeping ( you can decide later if you still need them or dissolve them).

Relax deeper, tell yourself to let it go

Notice the new sensations of calm and relief of relaxation in your body.

Decide to feel good because you can and indeed it feels wonderful.

Focus on visualizing what you really want while maintaining this state of being.

* Bonus Tip:
Consider Amplifying this great state by spinning your feelings and sitting in the state longer to immerse yourself in it even further and right before your reach peak intensity anchor it using any sensory stimulus like pressing your thumb to your finger or pressing two fingers on your neck.

You will then be able to press it later on and recreate that exact state, it works as a sensory recording of the new state you have created. There are lots of different ways you can "Anchor" a state and NLP is Fun has many posts on it right here on this NLP Blog.

You see, once you have shifted your Physiology you have changed your state. The more you practice with this the better you will become at it.

The beauty of it for me is knowing you can be doing this in your head in 4 minutes.

I hope you have enjoyed 10 steps that powerfully transform your emotions in 4 minutes, I wonder how you are getting on with this NLP exercise now,

let me know and enjoy the other many helpful NLP and Hypnosis posts on NLP is Fun Blog.

Nadia Harperhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/18019637815500951838noreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1032490373952411366.post-71123584670574898882021-10-28T00:44:00.000-07:002021-10-28T00:44:06.609-07:00Managing your State | NLP is Fun
Hello Dear Friends it has been a while hasn't it.

So much has happened in the last two years and our MOW has inevitably shifted somewhat. You can Practice maintaining your state in highly stressful situations like this

Emergency pack = Breathing mastery, since it instantly controls Physiology and therefore state. Breath being the fastest was to achieve this. 3X3 deep breaths or 5 solid minutes of deep breathing.
This works best, when you have taught yourself to respond in this way for minor incidents rather than beginning in the middle of a "Fustercluck" that really threw you for 6.

Have fun, and let me know how you get on with it.

Toodles, Nadia x.

Nadia Harperhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/18019637815500951838noreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1032490373952411366.post-44949617157120599002020-07-23T19:12:00.008-07:002022-12-13T03:30:49.419-08:00NLP Milton Model Presuppositions | NLP is Fun
Neuro linguistic programming Milton Model Presuppositions

Hello, today on this NLP is Fun I will cover NLP Milton Model Presuppositions.
A Milton Model Presupposition in Neuro linguistic programming is defined as

"Something which has not been stated but is assumed to be included for the whole statement to be understood properly".

1. You might become Aware is a Milton Model Presupposition simply becoming aware is noticing what is already there isn't it.

All you have to do is Notice and when you do you will be plugged in to noticing it and that is a great feeling isn't it.
Who wouldn't choose this.
This brings all of your attention exactly where it is practical and focused on your outcome, the outcome you would really like don't you.
That Trancy feeling of going inside yourself to that harmonious place of possibility and focusing on what you like even more.

Have you noticed what happens first as you become more aware of where your attention is going ?
Perhaps you would like to spend even more time focusing on the things that you like and feel great to you .. it is just a thought.

The Pattern is:

"You might become Aware of _________ when you _________ "

You might become aware of your knowledge expanding easier than before as you read NLP is Fun can you notice the fun feeling of learning more Neuro Linguistic programming now ?

Would you like to have fun with this pattern you might notice this is easier than you think when you use it.

"Now what I would like to do is something simple, and what I would like you to do is to start now, because you see, one of the things about hypnosis is its purely a subjective experience and if you are going to have a subjective experience, you really should do it yourself."
