10 ways to become solution focused with Neuro linguistic programming | NLP is Fun

It is possible to live at cause using Neuro linguistic programming.

As NLP'ers we speak a lot about feeling Powerful, being powerful and living at Cause to create the life that we deserve.
We speak of living at Cause and not effect.

Living at cause = feeling and being in control of your life, "I cause this to happen" I am in charge of my life, I have the capability to choose, make a difference etc.

Living at Effect = feeling Powerless, "This happens to me" People are in control of me and my circumstances.

When being in control even if dark skies seemingly loom ahead because you are "at Cause" you are looking for the light. this becomes a filter, in your thinking and expectations and naturally in your behavior and unconscious choices.

Nadia Harper Neuro linguistic programming Trainer and Coach.

How would your life change if you unconsciously filter a commitment to seeking the light?

Here are 10 ways to become solution focused with Neuro linguistic programming.

1. Keep your radar tuned in to discovering the light because it has to be there somewhere.

2. Speak your own power into being "I can, I will, I am" capable.

3. See yourself as worthwhile, able, capable build up to powerful.

4. Become solution oriented, only focus on the solution and it will become a filter in all your do and how you think and also resolve.

5. Let go of the problem, disengage your kinesthetic responses and learn the structure of how the problem was created.

6. See the construct as pliable either way. Towards a solution or against a solution.

7. Decide the direction you will focus on and assert your power only to back up your commitment to resolution.

8. Do not allow anything to dissuade you from reaching your outcome.

9. Create mental drills that support your outcome.

10. Feel the shift ahead of time and act as if this is true.

This is important for you as an NLP'er to train your Unconscious mind to expect to succeed in each of your goals. If you want to use NLP to practice and Improve your own Mental drills I have put together the following step by step outline for you to enjoy. If you are ready, let us begin:

NLP Mental Drills Exercise:

1) Connect with your Intention / Outcome
It is truly essential to get clear and develop a space of high expectation and achievement for yourself. The best way to guarantee this is by already having created your "Well Formed Outcomes click here to read this post

2) Go inside of yourself - bring all of your attention to the inner you.
Your mind is very good at this even if to begin with it seems impossible, the more you connect to yourself and notice what is going on inside you, the more you will be able to control your state.

3) Notice yourself slowing your breathing down as slowly as you possibly can - Just focus on your breathing while saying "I can slow my breathing down".

4) Create a flow of your slow breathing that is like a gentle wave that flows naturally.
If you begin to visualize this as an actual wave it is more likely to help you focus on turning it into a natural flow.

5) Begin to feel even better and slow your heart rate down in the same way.
The mind and body are a cybernetic loop. The Mind can control the body, the body can control the mind.
This usually happens out of consciousness. Now you are Influencing your body with your mind, which is normal and natural. you have the power to do this and it has historically been done for hundreds and probably Thousands of years.

Your mind is very good at this even if to begin with it seems impossible, the more you connect to yourself and notice what is going on inside you, the more you will be able to control your state.

6) Wrap all of your thoughts into a safe blanket and give them to a Unicorn with wings for safe keeping.
Assign a colorful, fun, interesting and soothing thought keeper that allows you to feel safe letting your thoughts go for the time being.

7) Focus on the clarity of your mind.
Get clear with yourself and create a space of high expectation and achievement for yourself. The bolder, the better,

8) Present your outcome and you receiving it notice in detail, what you see, hear, smell, taste, feel.
Here is where Representation systems and submodalities bring your mental drills to like.
Richard Bandler says your Experience / life will be a reflection of your internal representations.

9) Sit with this and notice your ecology and how this fits with your over all higher functioning.
Where are the key people and external processes in your life, does everything fit together. do they approve and support etc.
Test, Check and correct. this will make a massive difference to your ongoing unconscious motivation strategy.

10) Connect yourself to this mental drill in great detail at least 3 times a day managing to keep your state (Breathing and Heart rate relaxed and slow) as you do so.
Practice and chunk down as much as you like until you achieve the ability to experience powerful mental drills.

Most of all the more you connect to your unconscious design and process the more chance you have to work out any kinks quickly and easily and achieve it faster.

NLP Future Pace| NLP is Fun

When we have achieved a desired change using a Neuro linguistic programming Pattern we then want to make sure the desired result is set in our unconscious and conscious congruent processes.

We can find out if we are integrating these new NLP Patterns by Future pacing an Imagined unpleasant scenario to find out how well we respond using the new patterns.

This is so simple and here is how:

Imagine a less than resourceful Trigger, that in the past you would have had a negative response to.
Fully Associate to this experience without getting lost in it, just pop in using Visual Auditary Kinesthetic Olfactory Gustatory responses.

Were you satisfied with the way you responded ?

If you were satisfied, test a few more situations that would have caused you grief in the past and find out if you have new responses that you like now there too.

If you have the same responses as before doing the NLP Pattern, then go back to the NLP pattern (you were working on) until you experience a positive and resourceful shift.

When you feel you have shifted into the desired state using the Neuro linguistic programming pattern then future pace again.

Now experience any scenerio's you wanted to double check your progress on and notice you are able to have a completely different response than before.

The new response is resourceful and maintains your desired result and is integrated unconsciously into your selections.

Have you had success with NLP Future pacing before, if so leave your comments as to your discoveries using this technique.

If you like this NLP Blog then be sure to share it with more people who will benefit too.

NLP Language Patterns | Non Sequitur Suggestions | NLP is Fun

Lets talk about NLP Language patterns today.
Quite frequently people speak in Non Sequiturs they begin with one statement and attach another seemingly irrelevant statement as a conclusion.

This can be quite confusing and distracting to listen to. It is usually used as a detour, a decoy, the person changes the subject by using this technique and your attention must shift when you allow it to go unquestioned.

Many of today's Reality TV shows are filled with people who use these as everyday language.

If any of you work with Coaching clients or in Management of people these non Sequiturs often shine a light on a Limitation and disconnect in a persons thinking. The person is not connected to their own accountability role, due to a deficit in belief of the available resources perhaps.

On the other hand, they are wonderful to use as a pattern interrupt and a confusion induction in persuasion, covert Hypnosis and Ericksonian Hypnosis.
So let us play with them a little, or a lot ..

Here is what they sound like:

1.You can Hear the Relaxing sound of my voice so you will go into Trance faster with grace and ease
2.Lots of people have had success with NLP and you can Visualize yourself at your Best now
3.Exercise is great for the mind because you begin to notice yourself being even more productive now
4.Practice makes perfect so you can notice becoming even more confident
5.Everyone likes chocolate and having a good night of sleep helps a person wake up early in the morning

Example One:
There are three parts to this sentence:
First part of sentence 1.
"You can Hear the Relaxing sound of my voice"

Then a bridge in the middle
Second part of sentence 1.
"So you will"

The third part is a totally unrelated end statement
End part of sentence 1.
"Go into Trance faster with grace and ease"

Example Two:
First part of sentence 2
"Lots of people have had success with NLP"

Second part of sentence 2
 "and you can"

End part of sentence 2
"Visualize yourself at your Best now "

Ok, I wonder if you are getting the hang of it now because then you will become more flexible in your own communication.

Have fun practicing these Non Sequitur Suggestions

Tip:
The two statements do not need to have any relationship to each other
It implies that the end result is a conclusion of the first statement
It does not need to make sense
It bypasses the critical faculty
The person goes inside their head to search for understanding of your statement = Hypnosis
Think in terms of rhythm when putting them together.
