Milton Model Presupposition | " You might become Aware" | NLP is Fun

You might become Aware is a Milton Model Presupposition simply becoming aware is noticing what is already there isn't it.

All you have to do is Notice and when you do you will be plugged in to noticing it and that is a great feeling isn't it.
Who wouldn't choose this.
This brings all of your attention exactly where it is practical and focused on your outcome, the outcome you would really like don't you.
That Trancy feeling of going inside yourself to that harmonious place of possibility and focusing on what you like even more.

Have you noticed what happens first as you become more aware of where your attention is going ?
Perhaps you would like to spend even more time focusing on the things that you like and feel great to you .. it is just a thought.

The Pattern is:

"You might become Aware of _________ when you _________ "

You might become aware of your knowledge expanding easier than before as you read NLP is Fun can you notice the fun feeling of learning more Neuro Linguistic programming now ?

Would you like to have fun with this pattern you might notice this is easier than you think when you use it.

"Now what I would like to do is something simple, and what I would like you to do is to start now, because you see, one of the things about hypnosis is its purely a subjective experience and if you are going to have a subjective experience, you really should do it yourself."

Conversational Hypnosis | Stacking Realities | NLP is Fun

In Neuro Linguistic programming our focus is on creating Transformations always and in all ways NLP Language patterns are a great way to use conversational change that will work in every area of Hypnotic language to create a massive change.
"Stacking Realities" is a process that embeds one story inside another. it can be a little bit confusing as well as relaxing to experience.
Follow along with this simple and yet highly Influential Language pattern.

How to Stack Realities - Conversational Hypnosis

1. Decide on the intended outcome first think of it as a Theme that unconsciously threads your stories together and make sure it meets all well formed conditions.

2. Put together quite a few bite sized story pieces and make sure they all can lead one into another perhaps using the Milton model "Quotes" pattern although you decide what will work best for you.
Example:
I had a client once  a little bit like you as it happens ..... who wanted to .... which had been causing her an enormous amount of worry ... until one day when she met a nice young man at the Bike shop and he said "well you could worry all day and night but will that change it" My father always would say "If you don't like it. fix it" and she realized after a spell all her attention had been going on what she didn't want, and said wow I really  value the process of living in the moment and just being present ....

3. When using quotes take the opportunity to embed a process into the quote
Example:
" Milton Erickson would always utilize what was happening at the time to his own advantage" I heard Richard Bandler say "Think of a Challenge as an opportunity"

4. Test this simple and effective strategy out with a partner and get creative with it.

"Before you learn to give people the right suggestions you must know how to ask the right questions, and the right questions are those that tell you how the problem functions, rather than why the person or his or her therapist believes it occurred"

Richard Bandler

NLP Pattern Visual Squash | NLP is Fun

Neuro linguistic programmers use a pattern called Visual squash which is an NLP Pattern that is easy and fast to over come inner conflict, indecision and unconscious turmoil.
This Exercise is used in Neuro linguistic programming to experience real wholeness for the purpose of well being.

Remember if the unconscious and conscious mind are in conflict the desired state will not happen and the new behavior will not shift into high gear. this feels bad too and can cause other behavioral problems.

Here are a couple of examples of when to use Visual Squash:
You want to loose weight but eat cake all the time and have no willpower
You want to drop your mean friend but find yourself spending more time together
You say you care about doing something different but always do the same thing

Inner conflict feels bad and in the end the person will feel bad about themselves and their behavior.

How to do Visual Squash and resolve internal conflict

1) Identify the area of conflict and make a mental image of each, fully associating in Visual Auditory Kinesthetic Olfactory Gustatory use your hands and put one part in each hand.

2) Learn and Understand the possible highest intention of each part and name them for yourself visualizing each one and feel the weight of each one, is one heavier than another ?

3) Share the positive resources between each of the parts and develop an Image of the integrated shared resources now Visualize it and pay attention to this being a positive feeling.

4) Turn the parts to face each other while focusing on the Third image of the highest intention and positive feeling  and squash all parts into this it is fun to make a sound (like squishing or slapping) when your hands merge together and experience the changes from Problem state into Desired State.

5) Experience the powerful positive energy of the new integration, by bringing your hands to your heart and experiencing your whole wholeness for as long as you like.

6) Pick any situation in the future to future pace your experience of wholeness in a place that in the past may have been in congruent.

A mother brought her son to Mahatma Ghandi. she begged " Please Mahatma tell my son to stop eating sugar"Ghandi paused and then said "Bring your son back in two weeks" Puzzled the woman thanked him and said she would do as he asked. Two weeks later, she returned with her son . Ghandi looked the youngster in the eye and said, "Stop eating sugar" Grateful but bewildered, the woman asked "Why did you have me come back in two weeks to just tell him that, I am sure you could have told him that the first day ?"
Ghandi said "Two weeks ago I was also eating sugar"

NLP Modeling Exercise | NLP is Fun

Here is a fun way to use NLP to become better at building a skill. In Neuro linguistic programming we call this "Modeling" because we are learning from a role model.

Have a go at making NLP easy and fun, and you can do this is by keeping it simple in the following way.
Credit for this NLP Modeling exercise goes to Richard Bandler co Creator of Neuro lingistic programming 'NLP" .

One of my favourite  things to do is to cook Jamaican food and I modeled my Auntie who used to cook delicious Jamaican food for us that felt great in our hearts and Tummies.
Here is a dish that I cooked recently, and I have become so good at cooking Jamaican food that I also am called to cook many times for my friends and family.

Although I have no plans to own a restaurant, I have successfully catered many private events. Part of the reason is I actually love cooking the food of my heritage.

It is a wonderful anchor that reminds me of great days long gone. As I cook I get to recreate memories for my friends and family and the joy they experience delights me.

Are you ready to become a Modeler ?

Step 1:
Decide what the skill is that you would like to learn or decide on a person you admire and would love to behave like.
Find all media to review and make yourself comfortable and relaxed while reviewing all, and remember the more relaxed you are the more your unconscious mind will easily adopt the behavior.
Notice all Visuals - Auditary - Kinesthetic - Olfactory - Gustatory components.
Observe - Relax - Familiarize the What

Step 2:
When you feel as if you are fully present in the components of this persons actions.
Close your eyes and relax Visualize them doing it with all amplified sensory awareness of their behavior and what they do and how they do it.
Notice all Visuals - Auditary - Kinesthetic - Olfactory - Gustatory components.
Relax - Visualize - Amplify - Notice the How

Step 3:
After you feel as if you have "Got it" then "step in to them and Act as if" you can see through their eyes fully associated to all of their mastery
Step into - Act as if - Experience
Notice all Visuals - Auditary - Kinesthetic - Olfactory - Gustatory components.
Explore in 3D repeat several times noting your discoveries as a strategy for yourself.
Step in to - Explore - Notice

Step 4:
Run again from your own associated position and repeat several times until you can do it without trying too hard.
Notice all Visuals - Auditary - Kinesthetic - Olfactory - Gustatory components.
Repeat - Improve - Adjust

Step 5:
Step out of your persons body completely and retain the applied process integrated into your own natural processes
Notice all Visuals - Auditary - Kinesthetic - Olfactory - Gustatory components.
and re-run this over and over again, improving every single time.
Notice all Visuals - Auditary - Kinesthetic - Olfactory - Gustatory components.
Adopt - Adapt - Run - Improve

Step 7:
Repeat the whole exercise over again and do daily for a month
Notice all Visuals - Auditary - Kinesthetic - Olfactory - Gustatory components.
Perfect - Repeat - 30 days

NLP Future Pace| NLP is Fun

When we have achieved a desired change using a Neuro linguistic programming Pattern we then want to make sure the desired result is set in our unconscious and conscious congruent processes.

We can find out if we are integrating these new NLP Patterns by Future pacing an Imagined unpleasant scenario to find out how well we respond using the new patterns.

This is so simple and here is how:

Imagine a less than resourceful Trigger, that in the past you would have had a negative response to.
Fully Associate to this experience without getting lost in it, just pop in using Visual Auditary Kinesthetic Olfactory Gustatory responses.

Were you satisfied with the way you responded ?

If you were satisfied, test a few more situations that would have caused you grief in the past and find out if you have new responses that you like now there too.

If you have the same responses as before doing the NLP Pattern, then go back to the NLP pattern (you were working on) until you experience a positive and resourceful shift.

When you feel you have shifted into the desired state using the Neuro linguistic programming pattern then future pace again.

Now experience any scenerio's you wanted to double check your progress on and notice you are able to have a completely different response than before.

The new response is resourceful and maintains your desired result and is integrated unconsciously into your selections.

Have you had success with NLP Future pacing before, if so leave your comments as to your discoveries using this technique.

If you like this NLP Blog then be sure to share it with more people who will benefit too.

NLP | The Excuse Blow out Pattern | NLP

The Excuse Blow out Pattern is credited to Michael L. Hall
This NLP Pattern is a refreshing thing to do while you are relaxing this weekend.
If you think having a Parrot land on your head and get tangled in your hair is fun, think again.
But any way back to this pattern.
The NLP Excuse Blow out Pattern.

You can use NLP to challenge yourself and find out what you are making excuses about and why you are making excuses.

If you want to find out more about your internal processes then let us get started.

Ready, let us go !

Step one:
What exactly is the Excuse (otherwise known as reason) you have not achieved your real goal.
a) What is the behavior and pattern of behavior
b) How is the behavior operated
c) Include all sensory findings V.A.K.O.G

Step Two:
a) How do you feel about this Excuse reason now after doing step one thoroughly.
b) What unconscious findings, have you now discovered
c) What is the highest intention for this behavior

Step Three:
a) Consider the value of the highest intention of this pattern.
b) Dismantle the intention and result of what your highest intention is and redesign it to be more favorable for you.
c) Enjoy the benefits and drop the behaviors previously surrounding the hidden intentions

Step Four:
a) Decide with all certainty to Completely drop the old behavior.
b) See a Visual stop sign
c) Shout Hell no in your loudest internal or external voice
d) Feel the impact of drawing a thick black line in the ground and amplify this.

Step Five:
Test Operate and also notice how much progress you have made ahead of time and notice how else you will now improve here.

Step Six:
Future Pace remember to amplify the VAKOG associations.

*Bonus
Consider designing a swish "Switch" into your new strategy build as you do this pattern.
Most of all, have fun with it.

NLP | It is all about the Patterns | NLP is fun

Neuro Linguistic Programming is all about the patterns.
The pattern of behavior that we can call a strategy.

Each Pattern serves an unconscious purpose.
Some patterns work well to get what you want
Some patterns work well to stop you from getting what you want
Some Patterns work well to improve your life
Some patterns work well to destroy your life

It is easier to notice other peoples behavior
We normally are aware of what others do right or wrong.
Frequently we choice to focus on what they do right or wrong depending on our own Metaprogrammes which are filters we use based on our own expectations.
Our own internal codes of consciousness, if you like.

Make a decision to explore your own patterns of behavior
We can begin to notice our own patterns.
The things that:
Work for us
Trigger us
and cause our internal Maps and consciousness to change.

It is easier to notice patterns without getting caught up in the reasons for them
Neuro linguistic programming is about how we code our experience, and this causes our consciousness to evolve.
One way or another.

In order to effect positive change drop all judgement, focus on the desired state instead

Also some people believe
They are at Effect, in fact  Powerful NLP'ers believe they are "at effect".

Cause and Effect:
You have the power to change anything no matter what happens.

When you are Living in Effect -- Life happens to you, and you say you have little control of your circumstances.

When you live "at Cause", you believe you are the driver and capable of transforming any of your circumstances.

You can decide right now, not to allow your circumstances to Hypnotize you into living "at effect".

Real eyes .....
I did not say it would be easy because it is not easy until it is.

Make it Easy now
Did you know, when you say "This is easy", you unconscious mind learns to respond as if it is easy.
Magic doors suddenly appear out of thin air and open for you.

Interesting isn't it.
You and when I say you, I mean your mind, is capable of so much more than any of us know.

Begin to notice yourself changing your Internal coding by using your senses
Visual
Auditory
Kinesthetic
Olfactory / Gustatory to focus on things that excite and delight you.

You can change your own internal coding too
You can do it right now or just as soon as you like.
You are in charge, of your internal representations.

Changing Bad Memories | NLP is Fun

Sometimes Bad memories of things can get in the way.
One of the problem is you may not know how deeply they are operating in your unconscious processes.
The impact of this could be some form of Self sabotage in another area that you may have been struggling to get a certain result in.

Here is a really great Exercise from Dr Richard Bandler's Super Duper little Book "Get the Life you Want"  that helps you to actually change Bad Memories. Now that is real Magic isn't it?

I have used this exercise countless times and frequently use it in combinations with other patterns and find it works for memories that were really resistant to change.

Richard Bandler Signed my Copy of Get the Life you want | NLP is Fun
OK are you ready, let's do the exercise.

1. Think of a Memory that doesn't feel very nice and you would like to change
2. Notice all of the Details in your submodalities
3. Freeze it and make it much smaller
4. Go to the very end of the memory and freeze it then Imagine there is Paint brush that allows you to white out and erase the memory.
5. Do this super fast, and repeat is about 5 times
6. Now run the memory backwards scrambling up all of the details
7. Begin to spin feelings of well being in your own Physiology, notice what direction feels the best for you and adjust to even improve the feelings in this action
8. Can you still feel the feelings of the bad memories, if so keep repeating until you cannot.

By the way, you will probably notice initially before it completely disappears the intensity of the impact becomes less and less and less very quickly.

And when you are ready to let go of it you will find it happens very easily.
Within this little  NLP Blog there are more than 200  Empowering articles to help you along.
Do the exercises provided and change your Neurology, You can do it for sure.

NLP is Fun | Behavioral Flexibility

In NLP we learned in the NLP Presuppositions that people are not their behavior.
Certainly the person is valuable and perhaps in any given moment what they are doing is not so valuable to you.

However within some context there is value in what they are doing ..
Also The person with the most Flexibility is able to say in the game longer.

The more flexible you are willing to be the more resources you will locate. Being adaptable provides more opportunities to go after your outcome.

Building, Maintaining and Controlling your state and therefore your own responses comes first. You are in charge of yourself and maintaining You takes everything you have to do it well.

In this way you can elicit a response for your outcome or you will secure the outcome as you recreate a new response and even new responses.

Being flexible is about being empowered and many people think it is the opposite way around.
Being flexible with your behavior and being determined to do so until you get your outcome is the way of peak performers.

People who give up without understanding the Big Picture as well as the details are usually not necessarily focused on the Outcome.
The real questions should always be focused on getting your result.
Next time decide ahead of time and play your game to win.

Remain flexible
Manage your state
Look for opportunities
Shoot to score
Calibrate
Adjust
Repeat
Win

Failure is Final | NLP is Fun

"People who believe in failure are Guaranteed a Mediocre existence" according to Tony Robbins and we know this is true don't we.

Because your RAS = Reticular Activating system searches to filter out anything that is not reminding you that you have been programmed to fail.

So when you want something no matter what it seems like, stay plugged into the end result that you are expecting.

You can and will do it when you are certain that you will achieve your result.
Even if everyone you know and look up to is having a hard time believing in you, you can believe in you with all you have,

Every fiber of your being must be congruent in expectation of your achievement and do not become Hypnotized by fear of Failure, after all Failure is Final.

Failure is stopping and concluding you have tried everything and it just won't happen.
Remember Nikola Tesler who in spite of obsessive and compulsive behaviors and multiple challenges with his work was determined to prove his ideas were useful and unique.

Today Nikola Tesler's work is well respected and his legacy positive.
Failure is Final, so deciding a person has failed is never really true since even after death a persons work can live on and be awarded the highest honors.

Whatever your project make sure you first learn how to motivate yourself and find new ways to succeed while being certain you WILL Get it!

Boom. Let's Go !

Conversational Postulate | Milton Model | NLP is Fun

A Conversational Postulate is a Language pattern that comes from the NLP Milton Model, and is used in Conversational Hypnosis as well as Ericksonian Hypnosis.

It is designed to help a Person to take action now while asking in an indirect way.
A question is Posed or Postulated (seemingly as a suggestion) That gets a Knee jerk order response.
Don't Worry this is going to be even easier than you Thought,  Remember learning NLP is Fun.
In conversational Hypnosis:
Instead of saying quite clearly
Will you please go and fetch me the pickles

When using a Conversational Postulate You might instead say
Can you pass me the pickles ...

(You could say Yes or no but there is probably a great chance that you actually pick it up and hand it to me).
Let's do some more so you will get the hang of it.

Here are some you might find used in every day language:
Can you pass me that water ?
Will you get me one too ?
Are you going to swing by the house then,  if you do can you get my jacket from over there when you go ?
Do you have the time ?
Can you get the Door ?
Will you get that ?
Is there enough for me?

All of these questions could be answered Yes or No and even so they have provoked a response and the person who posed the questions is expecting the action to be taken.

In Hypnosis:
Will you relax now and quietly consider this is an easy exercise
Perhaps you are going to think of other ways in which you can use this pattern then
Will you sit in this chair and begin to relax now
Can you notice how your breath is slowing down
Can you allow your mind to wander as you begin to let go of your stress
Can you indicate from your unconscious mind perhaps with a signal, perhaps moving your finger ever so slightly, One way or another to signal you agree.
Are you noticing how easy it is once you let go of time consuming  and unhappy thoughts
Will you go into a trance by going into an altered state of consciousness

In Hypnosis in order to find the answer there is a greater likelihood of the person doing an internal check and experiencing the suggestion.

If the person is nicely relaxed they will enjoy and experience your suggestion and maybe say yes in their mind too.
Certainly they will agree with your suggestion.

Also Persuasive in Business environments:
Want to pick out the one you prefer while I have some left?
I can bring your order to the conference to make your pick up easy, will two boxes do it?
That is a Powerful pitch, It would be amazing to have you host our meeting, can I count on you this Tuesday?
Want to pick up the one we spoke about and let me know how you get on with it?
Would you like me to change your order to one that makes perfect financial sense to you?
Are you still going to get the one you fell in love with earlier?

In Business settings it is still quite like Hypnosis although it is more frequently called Persuasion.
The structure is Rapport based and linked to an association that creates a Kinesthetic response.

Your Turn to practice and use them:
Do you understand how to use them and if so do you think you will be using them now ?
Are you finding yourself studying more now the pattern is simple?

How serious are you about Learning NLP and becoming excellent at using it each and every day, Are you interested in NLP Practitioners training if so click here

The Cookie Cutter Strategy | NLP is Fun

How to get it right every time - Cookie Strategy | NLP is Fun

Have you ever tried to make a cookie and with all your best intentions the Batter  merged into one massive pile of "Goooo" on the baking sheet, or the bottom of the Biscuit was hard and Black Yet the top was much too soft?
If this sounds familiar , read on...

Lots of Patterns that can be found else where have good ideas and can be duplicated in other contexts too.

Here is one I designed earlier from making successful Biscuits/Cookies.

Try it on for size and let me know if you really like it.
There are 5 Steps to making a perfect Cookie and if you are not a regular cookie maker you may just think "if I just follow the recipe it will all work out".

As in life there are other external factors that could alter your end result, sometimes that are subtle differences that are not always supplied with the recipe.
Read on to find out more.

Step 1.

You should begin with quality Ingredients - make sure your Sugar is not clumped your Flour is fresh your eggs are the best available and all your ingredients have the High standard that you would expect to taste at your end result.

Step 2.

It is important to be delicate with the flour - if the flour is not handled with respect the air factor will not create the light and fluffy cookies you are hoping for. Over handling can make for hard flat and even lumpy cookies, Trust that you have done all you need too with care and confidence.

Step 3.

Are your measurements accurate - sometimes when rushing, you may have a pinch too little of this and heavy handed with that remember what you put in is what you will get out.
Take your time and be careful with substitutions to make sure they are appropriate to this particular cookie.

Step 4.

Sometimes the slightest difference makes all the difference - did you know if you chill your cookie dough before baking your cookies will have a chance to set well.
There are often tiny overlooked details which separate mediocrity from excellence.

Step 5.

Now that your cookies have come out of the oven nicely and you have achieved your goal, it is important to protect and preserve your Investment with proven tools that work.
You will need to first let your cookies cool completely, then store them in an airtight container so nothing can get in and nothing can leak out, in this case even air makes a difference.
Be Patient and understand the complete process which is the overview and also the minute details that make all the difference.

Always Create a strategy for success, Instead of just winging it. These are Rules that you like and want to implement because you know they will give you the result you are looking for. Something that has worked before is a great place to start. Might need some fine tuning to work in this particular context but hey, you have nothing to loose.
Be willing to adjust it as necessary and keep it moving.

How to Anchor a Peak State | NLP is Fun

If you are interested in being highly motivated then you will love this post about Anchoring yourself into States that leave you feeling on Top of the World.

If you were interested in creating a Chain to get you there then read this article.
This Article speaks about Spatial Anchoring
This article also from NLP is Fun speaks about changing your mood with Anchors
Flip through for additional information about Anchoring.

Here is How to create an anchor for a Peak state for Peak Performance that you can do yourself.

Decide on the state you want to achieve
Remember all of the times you had this state before, perhaps use the Circle of Excellence exercise to help you.
Maybe you had states that were similar too that you would like to revisit and incorporate, begin to focus on them and Amplify them so you can maximize your experience.

Watch yourself experiencing the state in a Mind movie and continue to build and expand the state using your full sensory experience:

Engage full sensory Experience
Visual = Seeing
Auditory = Hearing
Kinesthetic = Feeling
Olfactory = Smelling
Gustatory = Tasting

Now add these experiences into what you want to experience right now. Fully experiencing the Peak state you desire with your whole Mind Body and Soul, in full congruence.

Find the point you would like to anchor on your body or even use some type of other signal which means this is the state and locks it in.

Reminder:
You will anchor the state just before reaching the climax of the Peak so that you get the full effect of the association.

If you go past the Peak the association will be on its way coming down again.
You can do this very easily and quickly and each time you fire it, you will experience the state again and again.

Anchoring is One Trial Learning, it doesn't have to be complicated. It sticks unconsciously so don't over think it.

Having an anchor that you designed will override any opposing neurology.

Train your mind to Focus on what you want | NLP is Fun

Did you know that you can actually Train your mind to only focus on what you want?

NLP Meta Model Distortion | NLP is Fun

NLP | Neuro linguistic programming has a series of Language Patterns called The Meta Model which is extremely specific. It Challenges the Speaker to begin to clarify what they mean whenever they express themselves ambiguously.

There are Three ways in which The Meta Model is sorted into categories  each categories have specific Language Patterns to determine exactly how the speaker is creating their "Model of The Word" which is an NLP term for way in which they structure their Experience/reality .
Today I am speaking about the Meta Model Distortion which involves 5 ways in which people can distort their information.

Nominalization:
"People are suffering because of the economy"
"This Strategy is Rubbish and doesn't work"
"You should have some consideration for me"
Verb turned into a Noun or an Event
(Ask yourself this question) Can the Economy fit into a wheel barrow ?
(Ask yourself This Question) Can that Strategy fit into a wheel barrow?
(Ask yourself This Question) Can Consideration fit into a wheel barrow?

No, because (The Economizing) is an on going process that often changes every day, it is not a thing.
No, because ( Strategizing) is an on going process that can change every day, it is not a thing.
No, because (Considering) is an on going process that  can change every day, it is not a thing.
Add "ing" to the process and keep the conversation going until the person takes ownership of the specifics.

Challenging your Nominalization makes a persons choice of words less Challenging .
You learn who the subject is and turn the Noun back into a Verb. This clears up any confusion about who is doing what. and it is no longer confusing.

Cause / Effect
"If you hadn't scared me, I wouldn't have shouted at you"
"He started it and I finished it"
Doing ________________ Caused _________________
How did an independent act cause you to respond in the way you did, these instances are unrelated. A Person chooses how to respond depending on their Internal Map.

Mind Reading
"She won't leave him, she luuuuurves him"
"He is going to be drunk when he gets home"
Assuming without confirmation from the source
Did she/He tell you that?, How do you know that?

Complex Equivalence
"Chocolate gives you spots"
"Cloudy Sky Means Rain"
"Cold Ice Cream Means I am going to have Brain Freeze"
__________always Means ________________

Lost Performative
"That's  a silly thing to say"
Ambiguous Value Judgement, See More here

NLP Meta Model Deletion - Distortion - Generalization - NLP Language Pattern

Neuro - Linguistic - programming - NLP Meta Model - NLP Deletions - NLP Distortions - NLP Generalizations. NLP Language Pattern
How to Learn the NLP Meta Model.

When it comes to the NLP Meta Model it is super easy to learn. But some people feel intimidated and don't invest the time into owning it, so that you can become great at Recognizing it.
Think of the Meta Model in terms of Information Gathering.
To Understand the persons Model, you must listen intently to hear how they reveal their Meta Model Violations.

The Three Groups in The Meta Model are:
Deletion, Distortion and Generalization.

Now let's get specific.
To recognize language as well formed these conditions must be met.
1. Well Formed in English
2. Contain zero:

  • Transformational deletions
  • Unexplored Deletions of any kind (All must be challenged)
  • The person is positioned back into the powerful advantage of all the choices available to them,
  •  Beyond their previous expectations which were based on previous perceptions
In other words, because you say it as if it is true, does not necessarily make it true to me. I have the right to ask you a question about it, so that I can learn more about what you are communicating.

The speaker has a chance to revise their previous expectation, now that they know there is somebody who has another point of view.

Other Rules are:
3. Contain no Nominalizations in which a Process is turned into an event and or is made Final, without going challenged as the the available options.
4. Contains no words or Phrases without Referential Indices
5. Contain no verbs incompletely specified
6. Contain no unexplored presuppositions in the portion of the model that implies the person has no choice.
7. Contain no sentences which violate the semantic conditions of well formedness.

These rules have been accumulated from The Structure of Magic Bandler and Grinder 1975

In order to become really good at using the Meta Model you must additionally become really good at how you connect with other people in terms of rapport.
If you respect the person you are speaking to, instead of judging or criticizing, you can get to a place of curious questioning.

The Meta Model works really well like this.
If you are not doing this you will find yourself arguing perhaps and that doesn't feel good for anyone.
Some people are super aggressive in using the Meta Model once they learn it, and become NLP Meta Monsters which are like NLP Mean Kids who are Language bully's.
They thrive of saying crazy things like "Aha I caught you Generalizing ....."

Anyway I know you operate from a place of congruent Win Win and it is you I wrote this information for. We have the power to empower with this knowledge and I really love doing so, hopefully you do too.

Next time I speak about the Meta Model I will split Deletions, Distortions and Generalizations into categories.
I hope you enjoyed this Mini Lesson and I look forward to your feedback.

So you want to learn NLP

I started this Blog to show people that learning NLP can be fun and easy.
So in NLP speak some of the Presuppositions in this statement then are:

Here are some Presuppositions
NLP is not fun
There are people
People are interested in learning NLP
People can have fun,
Learning NLP is going to be Fun

Perhaps you have already attended one of our NLP Trainings before and learned how to think outside of the
Box while having fun with us. NLP has a unique set of Tools that quickly and easily help us put together strategies to think outside of the box.

Make Sense
To create lasting change in our thinking, feeling, seeing, hearing = which makes perfect sense, doesn't it since we are always calibrating with our senses becomes a realistic Outcome.

Our Main NLP study site in NLP is Fun in Las Vegas where I first founded The number one NLP and Hypnosis Study group in Las Vegas over 4 years ago now.
Our largest area's of focus are Teaching life time tools to busy professional people who come to us at various stages in their NLP development.

Some want to learn NLP and have no knowledge of it, but have heard something interesting about it.
Some have read an NLP book and are curious
Some have taken an NLP Course and want some coaching and direction in how to use NLP
Some have been studying NLP for years and want to find new and creative ways to use NLP in special situations
Some are Trainers of NLP and want to learn how to breakthrough their own barriers
Some want to focus on one learning area or niche to become  and expert in one specific area

Although we all want different things usually the common ground is Improvement. Which is:
"I want to Improve my understanding of NLP".

Sound Familiar
As a strategist, I wanted to understand why some people were not more confident in their applications of NLP.

I learned that NLP is often taught in a way that is hard to follow and know what you know.
Some NLP Trainers teach NLP at an unconscious level and provide unconscious installations only and then you go home and don't really know what you know, but you know you know something new and different and your pretty sure your life is improved.

Then somebody asks you what did you learn .. and you don't know.
Sound familiar ?

Some NLP trainers Teach Meticulous rigid and boring NLP theory and lofty ideas about unconscious applications that never quite get off the ground in practice. Then you can speak about NLP at length and sound as if you know what you are talking about to somebody who has less knowledge than you and you cannot and do not apply NLP in every day life.

Take out the guesswork
My Take on it is a combination of Unconscious Installation, Living metaphor and Theory I have found NLP can be learned much easier and more joyfully applied easily using this combination.

A light trance state is usually appealing and can help get past the what if madness of focusing on what they don't know that people may loop while learning new important information.

Just like Nike said __________ Do it !

At this time of year we typically slow things down a bit on our training's and take stock of what we have learned in 2011. We fine tune and prepare our exciting and brand new programmes for 2012 at the moment we have two more training's to deliver in 2011.

What about you what will you reprogramme in 2012 ?

If you like NLP is fun then you will love
If you would like to know more about how we do NLP Like our new page on Facebook  and receive our regular updates.

Remember Thinking outside of the box creates more choices, and the person with the largest arsenal of choices Wins, so give it a shot.

What can you do to begin to think outside of the Box today ?
