Create a State of certainty in your Outcome | NLP is Fun

The Power of NLP gives us the awareness of being able to calibrate ourselves as well as other people.

In this day and age getting sidetracked is a way of life for some. With so many online apps, networking sites and Facebook it is a wonder one ever reaches their destination.

Our success in any endeavor can simply be tracked back to our Feelings.
Either it feels Good
Or it Feels Bad

The other thing is at some level you must decide that you want to feel great and that all your choices result in you feeling great.
When you feel great you do great and you will open the window of possibility which moves the process further in the direction you would like.

When you have an open heart you can connect to your passion and begin to live as Authentically as possible resulting in absolute fulfillment and satisfaction.

Once you have decided you need to maintain a level of certainty. here is an NLP exercise that will help you to do that.

NLP Pattern for Creating Certainty :
1. Think of something you absolutely know for sure
2. Notice all Visual, Auditory, Kinesthetic, Olfactory, Gustatory responses present in the 4tuple
3. find the distinctions in each submodality
4. Think of something you are NOT sure of or do not absolutely believe
5. Notice all of the 4tuple responses for this belief
6. Chunk down to the submodality distinctions and notice the differences
7. Begin to draw a contract between what you are really certain of and what you are not certain of
8. Move the belief that is uncertain into the place of a certain belief until it feels different
9. Place the new belief into the Submodality space of the certain belief until it feels absolutely certain.
10. Future pace to determine if it now feels certain.

Enjoy the exercise and get a notepad to record how you are making progress with it.

Enjoy, and I look forward to your thoughts.

NLP & Hypnosis Practice in Las Vegas

Here are the pictures from Our Last Event in which the Participants were given a short intro and a 4 page handout.
I then took all the info I explained on the handout and demonstrated with two people from the group how to use these techniques in Hypnosis.

I wanted to show models in Hypnotherapy, Business and most excellent communication: as in conversational Hypnosis or in layman terms Persuasion.
The participants then paired up and found out what their partner would like them to work on influencing in the area of suggestion, and they then crafted a metaphor to slip into the unconscious mind.
Then everyone got stuck in and began to work on their induction skills, they were doing a progressive relaxation focusing on muscle groups with repetition and emphasis on relaxation throughout the body from head to toe.
After all Everyone could do with letting go once in a while.

Even though some of the participants had not done Hypnosis before, they got stuck in and made it happen the result of which was some powerful unconscious programming.
They then reinforced and summarized the suggestions, leaving their partner with revitalized powerful vibrant positive energy.
Then they were asked to create and deliver at least one post hypnotic suggestion, that would continue to powerfully move their process forward, in the days, weeks and months to come.
And then they switched so that everyone had a turn giving and receiving.
Afterwards there was lots to talk about, everyone had experiences to share so we had a Q & A session where they could all ask their questions and share their feelings.
Why don't you join us one of these days?
Our next group will be on March 26th and you can RSVP here

NLP a Wealth of Confidence

Did you know by using NLP you can and probably will become more confident ? Chances are you have a certain amount of confidence right now....

It can be that the confidence you do have is not positioned in the most useful slot .. i.e:
"I am am sure I do not have any confidence"
"I know for sure I do not have enough confidence"
"I know I can improve on my Confidence Levels"

Are demonstrations of Great Confidence .. In the area of not having  enough confidence.

Confidence is a Structure of Thinking, a Pattern, a Sequence of behaviour, a Habit.

So it is not that you do not have enough confidence, it may be that you would like to expand your use of Confidence to other areas of your life that you Believe you can Improve on.

We all have things at in which we feel stronger at than others. Perhaps it even boils down to exposure, we may find a certain thing easier than another.

A person may be more confident in Dancing than Algebra or Vice versa.
Thinking about How you may not yet be especially good at a certain thing, can make it worse because we may begin to focus on our Lack of Exposure and eventually Feel bad and say unkind words in our heads that scare us.

We may even sort for other things we have little exposure to and begin to bundle the whole lot into a ball and begin to loose respect for ourselves in general and make the "Lack" Bigger than the Things we feel confident at.

Sometimes we can amplify and distort our perceptions to the point that they become "Giants" and seem to be the only relevant issue .. We may super size them so much that they take up all our Vision and we cannot see past them. We make become "Stuck" or Depressed in these Distortions. They may "Consume us" or "preoccupy" our minds

These Distortions are "Mangled Beliefs", which have become Larger than Life and grown legs, our Imagination has created monsters out of them and they can become stronger as we focus on a lack of resources and set a sequence of Internal Dialogue on Auto play.

The more we think about them, the worse we can feel until it can grow and grow and grow ... even to the point of a Phobia in some cases.

Does this sound familiar ?

The Pictures and Words in detail create very distinct shifts in our perceptions, the way we communicate to ourselves affect our Moods.

We can alter Submodalities and change the way we are perceiving  the current experience, we can improve the way we are feeling instantly.

For example if your thoughts become larger than life begin to close your eyes and visualise how they play out and what picture story boards you are creating, it is fun to make them much smaller and Far away and notice how this impacts your Feelings about stuff you are Good at.

What about Making Brand New Pictures:
What Would you Look Like if you were Confident
What are you doing
What are you wearing
Where are you
Who is with you
What are they saying
What Tonality, Rate and Pitch works for you Find it and Use it
See People admiring you ( If that is important to you)
Include the Bottom Line end results of what you expect to Gain
Have Fun making adjustments just for the heck of it
Keep Going until the Feelings Change for the better and stick

See, Hear , Feel yourself with it ... Step into the Technicolour, Feature, Length, Wide screen, Movie in surround sound of you being Confident and make it larger than Life.

Make yourself Large and a Person or situation you Fear Tiny Tiny and Peer Down at them as if from a Tall Mountain Richard Bandler says You should Visualise yourself as a Puma and Say "YOUR ARSE IS MINE" ....

Or Hear A Massive and Powerful Choir chanting your words when you speak or move.

You can create a Theme Song for yourself  Every Time you Move you should Hear it ... what about Jaws that changes things doesn't it !

Or One of my Personal Favs "Rocky" Gonna Fly Now !

There are lots of things you can do to feel better in any situation and especially with NLP.
If you consider A lack of confidence is a Belief, and Your pain or Pleasure will come from how you have put that belief together.

The structure of the belief if you like, has to do with:
What a person said at a significant time,
How it influenced you,
How you Felt in that moment
Why you experienced this Feeling
What you saw, smelled, Heard
What that reminded you of and triggered
The words and pictures you  made inside after that,
What that reminded you of and more

Hay Presto ........ what a Mess tho !

It is super cool to know that your Beliefs are Opinions and everyone has their own, so yours can be adjusted until they work toward getting what you want instead of adding to your unhappiness.

NLP is like a recipe Book for playing with Beliefs, Perceptions, Values and how all these things are being processed by a person, at any given time.

There are several patterns we can use to change specific perceptions, and depending on your own unique experience is how I would decide which one to use, sometimes you may need to use several and quickly.

Sometimes I Jumble and twist Patterns from the script, just because NLP is about Subjective experience as we are all wired differently and there are many factors that make up your unique Map of the world.

Step into a pattern that works for you.

NLP has an Arsenal of Techniques for all kinds of categories if you would like to learn more about NLP and how it can help in your own life I am happy to consult with you private and confidential.

In the meantime I look forward to your comments, questions and opinions.

Using NLP to Change your Life

Before you decide to Change it is important to experience what the change will feel like, look Like Sound Like and if it is a good "Ecological Fit" for you.

One of the ways we can do this is by Building the Desired State First, you can do this by fully engaging all sensory experience to the change and running it through your mind and Physiology right now.

You can play with Submodalities to improve your experience while intensifying the state.

Get yourself to a place of believability and excitement, this is really important.

It is not only useful and fun, it gives you a chance to really experience what the change will be like and the best of all is that your unconscious mind will have the experience stored in your memory muscle.

When you get to "Peak State" then Anchor it so that you can fire this anchor whenever you like, this is great for times you are in public and want to rekindle your Excitement and motivation.

It has been proven that leading Athletes, Actors, Speakers and other successful groups get "Into A Peak state" like this way before getting the real job done!

Some engage these techniques as much as they physically practice.

Also the more you do this the more it becomes a reality and a habit, which strengthens the Neuro pathways you have created to develop this new habit.

After doing this for the first time Decide where you are right now. Engage your physiology to work with you and journal your findings.

The next step is to "build a bridge" to where you are going, your motivation is now on your side as you have experienced it at "Peak State" and anchored it.

Fire your anchor as often as you like.

What resources do you need to get to the Change "New Habit"

Make  a list of things that will improve your chances of being successful. Put your list s a reminder someplace you can see it first thing in the morning.

Keep building the Peak state and making the Peak state Pictures, Sounds and Feelings larger than the Current state, this will help you to remember what to focus on.

The closer it is to you the better it probably feels.

It is likely you notice how much submodality subtle shifts make massive improvements to your sensory experience.

Work your plan and keep calibrating, find out how and if the plan is working.

Test your Journey, you can Future pace and keep future pacing until you know you have a way to connect all the resources together to cross you over your bridge to make the change.

Remember creating a change has to begin with a huge desire from within to move towards your change. This usually happens when you are sick and tired of the state you are now in.

Have fun with it and journal your findings.

Flexibility is key and there is no wrong way to do it, experiment until you get it right for you.
