NLP | 10 Secrets of Persuasive communicators | NLP is Fun

As an NLP Practitioner you will learn that people have their own way of interpreting their realities. If you are trained in Neuro linguistic programming, the first thing you are taught is to understand another persons "Model of the world".
In today's NLP Blog, I am sharing 10 Secrets of Persuasive communicators on NLP is Fun.


In all great communication, a dialogue is a pleasant shared experience with a intentional destination.
As a Practitioner of Neuro linguistic programming you have the chance to be extremely specific in how you persuade others using:
Your Body Language
Your energy and personal power
Your Linguistics.
You can also consistently calibrate how you are matching by the unconscious feedback they are giving you through signals from their body positioning, energy, words.
Here are a few things to consider in persuasive communication:

Overview:
You have a plan that includes the following:
It always feels great = In NLP we call this Rapport. The conversation is flowing nicely between all participants.
It will easily reach its intended destination without obstruction. No matter what they say, or tactics they throw at you, you stay focused on the end goal and never detour.
You know both parties being happy and satisfied with the journey and destination, is essential. This is true pacing and leading.
You have in mind the goal of their satisfaction always. They are so satisfied that they will want to engage with you, more frequently in other destinations too.

Here are some ways persuasive communicators ensure effective communication.

1. They are continually improving, from a mindset of: Improvement means Improved opportunities.
They consistently study, learn new info, practice and invest in their own self improvement.

2. They always raise their own bar, they have goals and constantly review and challenge their own limitations.

3. They know that to influence any one else one must  always first influence themselves.

4. They never allow rejection to hypnotize them from their desired outcome.

5. They always seek a solution, even in the most bleak of circumstances.

6. They believe the more you learn, the more you earn.

7. They are driven by achievement and the prosperous rewards of achieving, that ensure a higher standard of quality in their lives.

8. They expect challenges, and they are prepared to conquer them.

9. They are expert at focused attention and attainment of their clearest intentions. They listen, learn  and understanding the intentions of the people they are communicating with.

10. They match the best that they have to offer to the expressed strongest desires of the person they are communication with.

Feel Great and Do Great | NLP is Fun

It has been a while since we did a pattern. Neuro linguistic programming or NLP has the most easiest ways ever to change your state and they are very quick and once you have done it once you know it and can do it time and time again.

This pattern has everything to do with feeling fantastic no matter what.
1. Remember a Time you felt the best Ever, I mean ... really great
Think of a Time you Felt Great | NLP is Fun 
2. Close your eyes and fill in all of he details Engage full sensory experience all of the representation systems to really amplify the feeling V.A.K.O.G.

3. Step into the experience and imagine really being there as if it is happening powerfully right now, even focus on your breathing as you call up this powerful experience.
(Remember your physiology will respond when you are really deep in this state.)

4.Notice your breathing and posture when you are in this state and make sure you are spinning your feelings to make yourself feel 1 thousand times more into it,

5.Notice what these states are ..
For example perhaps:
Excitement
Authentic confidence
Happiness
Personal Power
But choose your own words and feelings.

6.Now think of a time when you will use this pattern again and run through it now in your mind.
Remember, Practice makes perfect.

Which way are you Going | NLP is Fun

Movement Changes Everything doesn't it ?
If you are not moving, you are not making progress, because nothing is changing.
When you move your Body, you change your state
You could be moving a little, or moving a lot and if you break a sweat, you will really begin to feel a sense of accomplishment too.
But even slow and steady has proven to win the race.


I felt a great sense of accomplishment today because I challenged myself to go Hiking after my morning work out and it felt great.
Movement is Action and Action is Movement.
I felt good because I went further than usual, and I could feel the stretch.
Make your Movements and Actions to all go in the direction of your wants.
I felt good because I knew I was conditioning my body and Mind in the area of better Health and well being.
This is one of my main goals at the moment and I am totally congruent about it and committed to it, in NLP Talk we call that Fully Associated.
Plus I was with my son, so I got to spend quality time with him while he was doing the same.


Moving in the wrong direction is still movement so It can create a change but perhaps more of the stuff you do not want.

When you feel unsure and have not made a commitment to what you are going to do, you may move in the opposite direction of what you want.
Sometimes without even realizing it, maybe because you are dissociated = Unplugged from what you really want.
Perhaps because you do not really believe in it yet.

Your Unconscious mind is in charge of the direction you move in, so make sure you are supercharged and plugged into what you have committed to.

Step into it and act as if your every step is moving you towards it, this is much more important that what you are hoping to change or avoid.
You want to make sure all of your attention is plugged in to what you want.

Jack of all trades or Master of None | NLP is Fun

Lets Talk about Goal setting 

One of the many great things about NLP is that Neuro Linguistic programming goes to great lengths to help a person become accurate in their Goal setting.
For example like when we create Well formed outcomes  which I wrote about in detail some time ago.
What I have found with most people is the habit of being too abstract in what they want. 
One of the reasons I think this happens, is because they have not yet connected their conscious and unconscious mind as one.

Be Congruent in your Goal setting.

They do not yet have an internal alignment or in other words an unconscious congruent belief, that their goal is attainable.
In the meantime they find themselves focusing on what they do not want, and the impact of not having what they want.

For that reason I wrote 10 Steps to congruent Goal achieving which is an abstract way of getting into the state of Daydreaming and then noticing and connecting to smaller chunks.
The majority of this process is Self Hypnosis which is a stress free, relaxed unconscious way.
This has been really helpful to do before attempting to drill down to NLP Well Formed outcomes.

Be Precise in your Outcomes:

I have found that Precise Goal setting is great to do in that order.
The Key to become more resilient in maintaining the action needed to succeed in any Goal is:
a) knowing exactly why you have this Goal, why it is important  
b) what is the driving force of ongoing internal motivation of your actions.

This will make all of the difference, on your journey of implementation.
So connect to the very reason that your Goal is so important to you, there is a great chance that your Goal is connected at some level to one or more of your Values even at an identity level.

Refine what you Mean:


For example in the work that I do, Treating the Whole professional from the ground level up.
It didn't just come to me in a hap hazard way, I went though a process of finding out what exactly and specifically what it was that I wanted to focus on and Specialize in.
Here is how I discovered this, I began by:

1) Understand my own experience. 
2) A insatiable desire to improve myself, 
3) After making progress I wanted to share my discoveries and help others in a generalized way
4) Then I wanted to Improve how I communicated with people to perfect the process of helping them
5) Then I wanted to learn how to Influence other people to be motivated enough to create the change
6) Then I wanted to experiment with new things I had discovered by doing my work
7) Then I wanted to turn my work into particular systems I could share with other people
8) Then I wanted to make my systems holistic, simple, plus efficient
9) Then I realized the people I mostly liked helping were professional people who were interested in helping other people.
10) Then I wanted to just Focus on helping the professional service people who shared  similar values to me.
So as you can tell, it is a constant refining process isn't it, to decide what is Important and why and then to continue shaving bits off.


Specialize in what you love doing


When you first learn NLP, there is so much you can do you may be tempted to try to Fix everything and everyone.
Instead Decide who you enjoy working with the most and consider specializing with that particular group of people. Get specific about who they are and why you enjoy working with them.

My Story 

When I very first started doing NLP my ideas were quite different, than they are today. They have evolved into using NLP at a more unconscious level because NLP really is a Spirit or an attitude of cooperation. 

I design new processes and create strategies that speak to the specific work I do. With NLP there is so much I can do, and to this day I am beyond grateful for the technology I have under my belt .

By doing this instead of being a "jack of all trades", I can become the Master of the skills that I like to use in my work.
Because as I continue to learn and study daily. I improve in my specific area, which actually is an ongoing thing.

I find that this creates Better Sales people, Better Leaders, Better Business People, Better Executives, Better Influencers, Better Coaches, Better Presenters etc.
These are the people I find myself working with the most and since I always work with them, I perfectly understand their experience.

This helps me to stay energized and focused to do what I love, and plugged in to my most creative natural abilities and talents.

Because of this, I have been able to develop People who are more comfortable in their own skin, more confident, with better self esteem, Self worth, more adaptable and excellent communicators.
Who are Self motivated, High achievers that expect the best for themselves and challenge themselves for excellence every single day.

Specifically because they are able to achieve more consistent resourceful States for a longer duration of time.


Goal setting Summary:

To recap here is what I suggested.
1) 10 steps to congruent Goal Achieving
2) Well Formed Outcomes
3) Find your Compelling motivation (based on your Values)
4) Fine tune the Real Outcome
5) Shave the bits off that don't apply to you 
6) Focus on being a Master instead of a Jack of all trades
7) Continue to learn every single day 
8) Teach and develop other people with your knowledge
9) Create a more efficient process
10) Continue to refine and improve

Just How much more Sales success can you Stand | NLP is Fun

Just how much more success can you stand ?
If I taught you for example, the skills that Politicians and high ranking officers know about Influence and Persuasion, would that make you feel 1000 % more empowered.
And more comfortable in your own skin, when you were taking on new business.

How much more would this help you find your own true voice and communicate elegantly, and stand up for yourself against tricky communicators that know how to trip you up with your own words and out negotiate you.
If you are like me you operate from a place or integrity offering a wonderfully valuable service for a great exchange.
When you  understand your own high value you create a win /win proposition.

And What if (for example) you became really good at making more sales and influencing more people, would that cause a problem ?
And what if as a result of it, your money and your lifestyle improved Dramatically, would that be ok ?
What if because of it,you found the confidence to ask for what you really wanted, and you stopped selling yourself short and giving the farm away.
What if you found out that your services, were valuable and important.
And you remembered how much time and effort you had spent on developing your expertise and just needed to know how to share it with other people, and get a fair exchange for your extraordinary Talent.

And what if, you knew about Sales, and because you had some good days, and some bad days found out how you could create a system, that resulted in all good selling days no matter what.
What if this was a whole lot more simple than you thought after taking this knowledge packed Sales Training when you invest in the proper tools to do the job efficiently.

Well what will happen if you do
And what will happen if you don't
And what wont happen if you do 
And what wont happen if you don't


Truthfully, there is not a shortage of Sales or Buyers, but their may be a shortage of the appropriate knowledge and even the best knowledge activation.

NLP - Language Pattern - But Don't

In NLP and Hypnosis we often use language patterns purposefully that we are already really familiar with and using at unconscious levels to get what we want.

In this case I have put together a few examples of how we can stack language pattern combinations in just one sentence.

Remember words are powerful and evoke responses at an unconscious level by mere suggestion, ask any Hypnotist, Business Person, Mother, Wife, Husband, Teacher, Coach, Trainer, Leader, Manager, Poet, Storyteller , Historian ...... What we all have in common is the power to make progress and influence the end result.



Let us have some more fun with Language, when learning new language patterns Keep it simple, practice and build it up with experiences.

The better you get at them the more combinations you can stack together and use them in Hypnosis intended  to make progress with your suggestions for light, conversational, waking and Deep Trance.

Have you ever heard anything like this before ?

We can find multiple language patterns in each of these statements But Don't concern yourself with that, First focus on how many way's you can find to include "But Don't" in your own sentences to influence an outcome in your favor.

Like this:
Q) Would you like a cup of Tea
A) Are you having one ... I will if you are But Don't make one just for me ..

This Pattern will be useful when you use it tomorrow to get what you want but don't take my word for it just remember last time you heard these patterns work seamlessly for yourself.

Examples:
" That nail polish you like is on sale at the department store"
"Really  are you going that way,  I would love to get some more of that fire engine red color, But don't bother to go out of your way just for me 

I know your eyelids are getting heavier but don't close them just yet before you relax a bit more and take another deep breath now just for me ..

The yellow dress looks the best on you but don't wear the one I like please yourself if you prefer the other one.

Having fun with words can be a great way to challenge your mind but don't get too good at it will you 

You probably will realize you are using these word combinations already But Don't forget to use great rapport at the same time other wise they may come across as too pushy.
