What is the single most important aspect of physiology and why Neuro linguistic programming works to change your mind.

Did you know the single most import aspect of physiology and more importantly a physiological shift is to change your breathing.

To change your breathing, instantly changes your physiological state. If you do not believe me, just take a deep breath now.
If you would like to enhance this do more breaths, breathe more slowly, and notice what happens.

When you shift your breathing pattern, you literally shift your physiological state of being. 


What is the single most important aspect of physiology and why NLP works to change your mind | NLP is Fun

Changing your breathing pattern changes how you feel, here is another example: Think of something that really scares you, now notice your breathing. Did your breathing change? 

All of the exercises that we call patterns in NLP are designed to shift your state from Present state to a desired state. 

Why NLP works to change your mind


Now there are other things you can do to make it even better. Let's talk about using Neuro linguistic programming to change your physiology and why it works.

Your mind and body are a Cybernetic loop. Use your mind to think and you will feel. Change your breathing and you will regulate how you feel unconsciously.

So, this being agreed, to take it a step further you are the sum total of what you are thinking and how this makes you feel.

Your mind and body are an interchangeable unit.

The sounds and pictures are creating stories in your mind and your body is demonstrating how this is making you feel.

In Neuro linguistic programming we call these Internal representations. How you are representing reality internally (Inside your mind).

Also, as you exercise and or use exercise as part of your well-being on a daily basis, it will become easier to manage your emotions. Exercise can change brain chemistry in such a way that you notice great feelings very quickly.

Simply standing up, sitting up, and or jumping are examples of changing your physiology and shifts your consciousness which changes your mind.

We may have been told it has to be hard or strenuous exercise that does this although as we have discovered simply breathing is physical and also changes our psychology. 
Think of meditation for example, many who practice meditation feel feelings of peace and wellbeing in their body.

An example of combining movement and breath is Yoga. In NLP we combine breathing and using the sensory awareness of the mind to create altered states of consciousness that we call mental drills.

This is why NLP works to change your mind literally.

We pay attention to details of experience while relaxing and modifying how we notice we are feeling using our mind.

The best way to manage our emotions when things get tricky is to relax. All relaxation is done by slowing down our breathing.

We may want to create a feeling of anticipation, and this will be done by spinning our feelings in combination with using sensory awareness internally and this will change our breathing also.

One of the single more important aspects of noticing a physiological shift is to watch a person's breathing rate change. We will calibrate this in our communication to understand how a person is receiving our communication and if we are in rapport with them.

When we are in rapport you may notice we will breathe at the same tempo. As a Trainer of Neuro linguistic programming when I am speaking to a large group of people, I will set the tone by creating a pattern of breathing so we can all become harmonized and in good energy.  Good rapport feels like good energy and can be seen in body matching, breathing matching, heart rate matching to name a few.

Next time you want to change your move just decide to shift, change your breathing, perhaps sit upright, look up, get outside, change your position and use your mind to move the problem behind you just to go a step further.

Move your Body | NLP is Fun

One of the most underrated components of Neuro Linguistic programming is the simplicity of exercise and how just doing this on a regular basis changes your mind.
If you exercise every day you will feel stronger and more empowered in every way.

Move your Body | NLP is Fun

If you want to change your perspective, then shift your Physiology with exercise.
If you are faced with an Overwhelming Challenge, then get out into nature and breathe in the fresh air.
Simply going out for a walk will change your life.
If for some reason you cannot get outside then use your body to do Yoga, Stretching and strength training.
You will learn how strong you truly are,
Condition your Mind AND Condition your Body too.
Remember the Body has it's own Memory Muscle and works directly with your unconscious mind.
Shift your Neurology and Change your state by connecting to your body in exercise.

Appreciate the natural Beauty around you | NLP is Fun 
You will feel so Empowered if you get up and do this in the morning before going to work.
Being in the Desert means getting out to exercise really early before it gets 110 degrees or more, but no matter what create a No Excuses Policy and just knock it out anyway.
If you live in a place that is full of natural beauty then go to explore it.
You will be surprised what you will discover about yourself and your surroundings.

Being in the wide open space allows room for your solutions and creativity to flow, especially if you are a great thinker.

Think in terms of unlimited possibilities and live better.

Notice your Breathing and change your state - NLP is Fun

Did you know that to begin to notice your breath, is to be aware of your Physiology.
As we know our Physiology will change our state.

Our state is number one, getting this right, is the foundation of all success.
When you can and do manage yourself by getting your state right first, it changes how you can connect with other people too and also how you behave. Your actions will turn into habits.
Your habits create your lifestyle.

For example: to be reactive to things that happen outside of you is less than resourceful, especially if you consistently loose your Temper and your focus.


When you begin to care more about managing yourself, it is a simple as beginning to notice your breath and your physiology.

Have you noticed when you feel relaxed and confident your breath is easy.
When you feel stressed or anxious your breath struggles and becomes rapid and seemingly takes on a life of its own.

If you can focus on your breath ...
And ..
Notice ...
The Space in between ...
Each breath ...
You can ...
Easily begin ...
To Relax...

Try it on for size and then move up to.

Connecting your heart beats ...
To ...
Your Breath ...

This will change how you manage yourself.

NLP - Internal Representations | NLP is Fun

I often ask people to keep a track of what they are Putting into their minds, TV Shows,Movies and Pictures, all create lasting Impressions that influence our behaviours as do Radio Shows, The People you hang out with, your family, Loved ones etc.

Many Great Entrepreneurs that others like to Model have said "Birds of A Feather Flock together" and even, "If you want to know How financially successful you will be, take a look at the earnings of the people you spend the most time with.

So Definitely what we put in comes out, why is this so Important, well when one is attaining excellence an Excellent way to enhance and accelerate your experience is to make pictures of your desired outcome and engage :

Visual - What you will See
Auditory - What you will hear
Kinesthetic - How you will Feel when you succeed
Representations.


Doing mental Drills to rehearse what we will expect in the Long run, not only enhances our belief it also helps us begin the momentum necessary to make it happen, when we combine our efforts with the Energy of Spinning Feelings too inside our Core.
Any Law of Attraction Seekers understand that what you are feeling much of the time determines your life, your results and how you are perceived by others.

The Incredible Anthony Robbins

I have to say I am a major Tony Robbins Fan, I love his work and think he is great at what he does.
So I was disappointed when Breakthrough with Tony Robbins was Canceled.

Although I am not a TV watcher myself and wonder how many in his Audience of Massive Action takers really were going to be tuning in to his TV Show.

So, Too Bad the TV show didn't work out for him, I have watched two episodes that I enjoyed very well on Hulu (link included) and will tune in to see the rest as time permits.

Tony Robbins seems to attract strong responses in the NLP Community some like him some loath him, in spite of it all he is making a difference in the lives of the Masses and affecting many who love his brand of Personal Development.


I recommend his Book Unlimited Power, in my opinion it is still a great Timeless classic Personal Development with tons of Techniques to introduce people to the Philosophies of NLP and specifically State Change, Internal Representations, Strategies, Physiology and More.

It sells for practically nothing on Amazon, with 92 plus out of 148 reviews giving it 5 stars:


Have some Fun with it and check it out for yourself.
Many people tell me it has helped them get a more thorough understanding of other NLP books that were less personal Development oriented.
