Who is to Blame | NLP is Fun

I was reminded by an Info graphic on Face book about putting your power into the hands of other people.
Specifically about being afraid of what other people think about you.
The presupposition being an idea that Other peoples opinion of you is more important than what you think about you.
We have in many ways been taught that as an unconscious lesson.
It is however a powerless position, because you are then seemingly at the mercy of people and their good or bad Judgment about you.

What if they don't like you
What if they don't like what you do
What if they don't like what you say
Does that mean you are not good enough ?
In NLP we would say good enough compared to whom ( this can be a great clue to what the underlying fear is)
Surely this is exhausting !

I had a lot to say about this because I used to care so much about what people thought about me.
It was an endless parade of trying to fit into the parameters of what they (People) deemed acceptable for me.
But the trouble is the Goal post kept moving.
As I managed to squeeze into one of their boxes they would set up another, I couldn't keep up!

This is why I designed The Self love Process.
This external and Inner critic that finds something wrong in all you do can also become an anticipation. You may have been doing this your whole life and so much so that you believe somebody is to blame for this.

Instead of focusing on Blame, Focus on feeling better. Filtering differently is essential to renew your personal power.

You can re-frame this and just stop doing what makes you unhappy in other words just value yourself.
Truthfully, I had to just learn how to breathe and focus on what would I like, and how do I feel about myself.

Take the spotlight off them and bring it back to the fact that you deserve to express yourself however you like.

This truly is a Self esteem issue. As you build up your own Self worth your perceptions will change about "Trying to fit in" and "Make yourself small" for others.

I gave it a great deal of thought since 4 years later it popped up again on my time line review asking me if I would like to share it again or ignore it.
It was a great way for me to think about how I personally had evolved since first posting it.
Not only this,it is just a few Days since Prince died at just 57 years old.
I loved Prince to me he was an original who believed in himself in the most extraordinary way.
He committed to his process and to living the life he preferred.
He wasn't afraid to completely switch it up at any time and he was extremely graceful while doing so.

I have seen him live three times and his death impacted me in a way that I wanted to share with others here is what I said.
" I saw Prince 3 times and every single time he was literally amazing.
The second time I saw him I got the chance to go on a very small stage with him as he serenaded us with Guitar and song.
Of all the musicians I have seen Live, I think he was probably the most talented.
He did his own thing and whatever he did, he was a perfectionist, he certainly was a real artist.
May you rest peacefully in Blessed Love" heart emoticone thing is for sure You Really Lived, You served a great purpose and used your life well "smile emoticon
So beautifully the time line graphic coincided with what I had taken from my experiences of Prince and how he lived.

I realized it boils quite simply down to this:
Do you allow other people to decide your life for you or do you live your life on your own terms.
Even if people have no respect for you, undervalue you or are unkind to you. Do you allow them to become more important than you especially when they are Bullying you into submission and are still not and never could ever be satisfied.

Do you remember this Blog written on NLP is Fun in 2011

I have heard and experienced so many accounts of people who have been relentlessly emotionally abused through criticism by others who do their best to control how you are living so that they can feel better about you.

It can be Family, Friends, Partners, Children, Spouses, Church / book club members you name it. A person who is Bullying you doesn't care about you understand that part first.

In 2010 I made this Video in response to the "It gets better" campaign against bullying people who are different and you can watch it here .

So let us get down to it:
Ask yourself "How can you even think of wanting to confirm to their ideas of what you should be".
Would that be living your life as if you are really Living ? or do you listen to your heart and make your way back to you and what you know is right for you.
Do you dare to live as if you really mean it shining your own light or live in fear of  them rejecting you.

Who you think you are is what matters and daring to be your best self and go for it.
Do you have something really great to share with the world ?
Does what other people think about you stops you ?
Let us consider another angle: here is a reminder of what The Self love Process wants you to focus on.

Remember there are simply five main things you can do to get back on track:

1.Love yourself on the Inside = Connect to your higher best self in self confidence
2.Accept yourself fully = No matter who does not accept you
3.Stand with yourself = In belief and Personal Power
4.Be Kind to yourself = Always say good things to and about yourself
5.Take loving Actions = Make the best choices bearing these things in mind

Most importantly if you forgive them and yourself you will feel miles better. Holding them into the energy of their rotten behavior keeps this association going. Remember Perception is projection.

Imagine something great for yourself instead.

Finding a Positive Intention | NLP is Fun

Dear Friends Let us do an exercise.
This is a great way to feel better quickly by discovering the sometimes "Hidden" positive intention in another persons actions.

For example, when a Person does something you believe to be Unkind or Negative. Instead of making yourself feel worse with replaying it over and over again, This exercise will help you to look for the Positive Intention instead.
It has been said that Hurt people, Hurt People and may or may not know they are doing so.
Either way, this is all about making sure you feel the best that you can feel.

Remember all behavior has a Positive intention sometimes the positive intention is so hidden that one might miss it unless you had a magnifying glass.

With NLP we have the opportunity to find out how we can get back on track and find the Positive Intention underneath all of the chaos.

There are three parts to this exercise:

First.
Explain what the disagreeable behavior is for yourself, and state why this behavior is not useful.

Second.
a)  Take Three Deep Breaths (at least, perhaps you may need more) then when you feel relaxed.
b)  Go into yourself and think about the part of you which would generate this kind of unproductive behavior and give it a characteristic and a personality.
c) Bring the characteristics of this part into awareness, as if you had a part just like it
d) Translate the behavior using this "part" to discover the why
e) Begin to think of this part as a character or personality, maybe even use a metaphor to name it
f) Find out if  this part works in alignment with the whole of you
G) Initiate a role playing game with this part, and ask the character what it wanted to gain from this behavior
H) look for the deepest value and be direct in asking about the real intention you can say what were you hoping to achieve with this behavior.

Third.
Keep asking "why" until you understand the real and deepest Motivations to the behaviors.
Think of this as an exploration, and keep going as you uncover more into your consciousness.

Love yourself first | NLP is Fun

In order to love another person, you must first learn to love yourself, well.

The art of loving yourself is a challenge in itself.
Although it can be done by first applying conscious effort into changing your internal representations around your own personal Value.

After all, You can not consistently give anything that you do not have or have not experienced fully, can you ?

I am the Greatest | NLP is Fun

What you are saying to yourself inside your head most of the time, is creating your Results.
How you Feel is filtering your Expectations for success or not.
You can change all of this if you like by programming your own mind.

Muhammad Ali was the Master of Mind programming, He persisted even when others said he would not win and he didn't have what it takes.
He found a way to believe in himself against all odds.
People thought his Self belief made him obnoxious in the beginning and now they speak of nothing else..

What would you be able to accomplish with more self belief ?
What if you cared much less about what other people said about you
And programmed your mind, so that you said great things about you
And then your determination led to others believing in you s well .. Check this Video out

What Are you doing to create Invincible self belief in your own Life.
You can start by Amplifying your own Victories inside your own head first.
And expect them to materialize on the outside.

Update: We have recently learned that we lost this amazing Champion and Legend on June 3 2016. Rest in Blessed Love Muhammad Ali you were the greatest in your field and you were a great man. We appreciate all you taught us.

Ask, Believe and Receive | NLP is Fun

Happy New Year Great Friends,
Have you set some amazing positive Intentions this year.

I wanted to speak to you about the Following words which come up quite a bit from people who speak about the "Law of Attraction".

Frequently it has been said "Ask Believe Receive". which is easier said than done, especially when we may be used to seeing proof before we buy so to speak.
This has everything to do with Programming your unconscious mind to be able to congruently believe in something that hasn't happened yet.

Which sounds like magic doesn't it via the Power of Suggestion.

This is what they call speaking into existence which is absolutely the same as Acting as if  and engaging full sensory experience and amplifying.

Ask:
Get Clear and precise about what you want and describe the experience in detail of specifically what you want.
Feel the sensations of what exactly you mean and engage / Connect to them in full sensory awareness.

Believe:
Believe you are worthy of receiving it
Believe it is possible
Believe you will get it,
Believe against all Odds

Receive:
Be Open in your expectation about receiving it for long enough to overcome any obstacles that may show up.
Do not get discouraged by your current circumstances.
Be patient and manage your state
Release all painful and disappointing limiting beliefs and expectations
Focus on being in the mindset of receiving / Gratitude

Try it on for yourself.
Act as if by rehearsing these mental drills a few times daily to really get in the flow of it.

Happy New year | New Beginnings | NLP is Fun

Dear Friends,
Happy New year to you, a few Days ago I had a workshop that helped people to release 2015 and prepare for 2016.

Releasing all of the things that happened in 2015 that did not meet your highest expectations is a good idea isn't it.

It is a matter of really letting things go, instead of further analyzing and just deciding it isn't really so important if it just makes you feel bad anyway.

The things that make you feel bad, just feel bad and so must be disposed of if you ever hope to feel happy.

Happy about yourself
Happy about your life
Happy about your work

Happy about your love
Happy about your relationships
Happy about your circumstances

Happy about your lifestyle
Happy about your Body
Happy about your prospects

Happy about your Family
Happy about your living conditions
Happy about your Things

Happy
Just
Happy within yourself
Happy that you are you ..

Happy New Year
Happy New You
